Landed Thirsk Hunt Cup (1m) in 2019 and as good as ever when readily taking 1m handicap at Musselburgh last September. Creditable reappearance sixth at latter venue 9 days ago.
In good form on AW during the winter, scoring twice over this trip at Newcastle. Shaped as if still in good form when eighth of 20 in Spring Mile at Doncaster last month. Former C&D winner. Respected.
First run since leaving Amanda Perrett when scoring at Kempton in February. 11/4, respectable 2 lengths fifth of 9 in handicap at Lingfield (7f) since. Contender back on turf.
Windsor maiden winner last summer who looked a very useful prospect when returning from 8 months off to score at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 4 weeks ago. Mark in the 80s could prove lenient.
Dual turf winner last year, including at York in October. Respectable third over C&D on final start. Much depends on whether he's primed for this reappearance.
Seen only once last year, finishing down the field over 8.5f at Beverley. Returns from another 8 months off with a bit to prove.
Healthy strike rate on AW (6-25) but remains winless after 13 attempts on turf. This a bit easier than the Spring Mile he contested last time but others are still preferred.
Four-time C&D winner, including this race in 2019. Last of 8 on AW at Newcastle 6 weeks ago on first outing back with this yard. hard to know what form he's in.
Not most reliable but he has been in good form on AW at Southwell this year, winning a claimer in February. Creditable second in handicap (1m) latest.
Pair of 1m AW wins this winter. Latest well-held third of 7 at Southwell no more than respectable, though. Did go close over C&D last autumn.
Bagged low-grade handicaps at Southwell in December/January, but well held back on turf at Doncaster latest, weakening as if amiss.

Forecasts
Kettle Hill (5/6), Dawaaleeb (4/1), Zhui Feng (15/2), Hayadh (18/1), Global Spirit (18/1), Defence Treaty (20/1), Give It Some Teddy (20/1), Motawaafeq (20/1), Home Before Dusk (22/1), Jewel Maker (33/1), Brother McGonagall (50/1)
An opening handicap mark in the mid-80s may underestimate the William Haggas-trained KETTLE HILL who can prove too strong for this much more exposed opposition. Dawaaleeb was bang there for a long way in the Spring Mile and may provide the main threat ahead of Zhui Feng, who has made a positive start for new trainer Tom Ward.
