Didn't need to be at best when winning 3-runner minor event (2/5) at Lingfield (8f, AW) on debut for new yard 25 days ago. More needed now switched to handicap company.

Respectable fourth of 14 in maiden at Chelmsford City (10f, 7/1). Off 159 days ahead of this first run for yard after leaving Owen Burrows and others are more appealing.

C&D winner. Fourth of 5 in handicap (7/1) at Southwell (8.1f) 25 days ago. Needs to step up on that, but this 6-y-o is dangerous to discount having dipped to a career-low mark.

Forecasts

Lasting Legacy (7/2), Pholas (4/1), Great Colaci (5/1), Espresso Freddo (17/2), Heaven Forfend (17/2), Win Win Power (10/1), First Response (10/1), Boma Green (12/1), Mujid (12/1), Glory of Paris (22/1), Zeimaam (25/1), Dubai Acclaim (33/1), Diyari (33/1), Big Muddy (100/1)

Verdict

Arguably unlucky not to prevail over 7f here last week, GREAT COLACI will surely go close granted a trouble-free passage back at this trip and off the same mark. He was beaten a length by Pholas over C&D in January and enjoys a significant pull at the weights with that rival. Boma Green finished nearer last than first in that handicap, but he was repeatedly denied a clear run and is feared most.

  1. GREAT COLACI
  2. BOMA GREEN
  3. PHOLAS
