Ffos Las winner a year ago but more miss than hit in general last term and no promise on either outing since returning.
Down the weights and back from a spell in the doldrums when second over C&D last time. Useful claimer takes over, so he could take all the beating if in the same form.
Fair winning 20f hurdler last term but made an inauspicious start to chasing when sixth at this course earlier in November. Shorter trip will help if he's learned from that experience.
Left previous efforts well behind when getting up late to score in a handicap at this course 16 days ago, finishing strongly to lead late. May well follow up if the drop in trip doesn't catch him out.
Modest maiden hurdler/chaser who is yet to improve for a switch to Nigel Twiston-Davies but could benefit from a drop in trip back returned to chasing, so he's worth considering from a handy mark.
Long-standing maiden who went backwards from his reappearance when fifth in a handicap chase at Fakenham recently, so others make more appeal.
Modest maiden over hurdles who has made a limited impact since switched to chasing. Gathering experience, though, and handicapper has given him some more leeway.
Twice a winner from lowly marks last winter, latterly at Chepstow (19.5f) in January. Well below form since, though, including on reappearance.

Forecasts
Clondaw Storm (7/4), Avoir De Soins (4/1), Away For Slates (9/2), Champion Chase (6/1), High Up In The Air (7/1), En Coeur (12/1), Kingston Mimosa (28/1), Robin Des Mana (50/1)
AWAY FOR SLATES bounced back when runner-up over C&D recently and is handicapped to win, so a chance is taken that he's in the same form and able to go one better. Recent course winner Avoir de Soins is an obvious danger if he has the pace for this trip and Clondaw Storm needs considering on just his second chase outing for Nigel Twiston-Davies.
