Three wins from 9 runs this year. Career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Redcar (1m, heavy) 12 days ago. 7 lb rise demands more but clearly at the top of his game right now.
Lots of good efforts in big handicaps in recent years. Shaped as if in form from a less than ideal position when eighth of 18 in Balmoral at Ascot last time and he's back on a good mark.
Useful handicapper who is well suited by testing ground, winning at Leicester and over C&D last month. Raised another but still respected with conditions to suit again.
Won the German 2000 Guineas and third in a French Group 1 last year but operating below that level this season, no impact in 7f handicaps last twice. Others preferred again.
Racked up back-to-back 7f wins at Chester (good/good to soft) in August before good fifth of 16 in handicap at Ascot in September. 1 lb lower now and each-way claims if okay on this softer surface.
Failed to handle very testing ground at Leicester last time but he had looked very progressive in some strong handicaps at York prior to that. Every chance he can bounce straight back.
Thriving for current yard, winning over 6.5f at Leger meeting here and good placed efforts at York and back here (both 6f) since. No problem going back up to 7f. Another prominent showing likely.
Back to winning ways at York (7f) in July but hasn't quite been operating at the same level since.
Useful and progressive in 2019. Hasn't kicked on in the manner expected this year and needs a change of scenery (has left Martyn Meade) to help spark a revival.
Back on song when scoring at Ripon (6f) in September. Latest course fifth of 12 from too far back suggests he's worth just this second attempt beyond sprint trips.
Right back on song when successful over 6f in the mud at Windsor and Newbury last month. Likely to be in the shake-up again if as effective back over 7f.
Having second outing for this yard when second over 11.5f at Haydock (heavy) in September. Best run since when fourth over 1¾m at Nottingham last time. Now down markedly in trip with cheekpieces on.
Last 6 wins have come at Ayr, the latest over this trip off 6 lb higher in June. Been below that level since and others preferred again despite the fact he's well handicapped.
Back to winning ways in 7f Newbury handicap (heavy) 15 days ago. 3 lb rise for that defeat of a couple of 3-y-os doesn't look excessive and she ought to go well again.
Former heavy-ground winner. Career best when back to winning ways in 11-runner handicap at Chester (6f, good to soft) 8 weeks ago. Only nudged up 2 lb but that form has taken a few knocks since.

Forecasts
Tranchee (7/2), Tomfre (5/1), Kynren (5/1), Molls Memory (11/2), Young Fire (17/2), Aplomb (9/1), Punchbowl Flyer (16/1), Firmament (18/1), Revich (18/1), Hartswood (20/1), Ebury (25/1), Fox Champion (28/1), Gabrial The Devil (33/1), Toronto (40/1), Nicholas T (125/1)
KYNREN shaped as if back in form in the Balmoral and might be worth siding with here having been given a chance by the handicapper. Hartswood will be a threat if able to shrug off a disappointing run last time as his form prior to that is strong. Recent Newbury winner Molls Memory and Tranchee are others likely to be in the shake-up.
- KYNREN (IRE)
- HARTSWOOD
- MOLLS MEMORY
