Arrives here in terrific form, posting another solid effort in defeat when second in a big-field York handicap (7f, soft) 15 days ago. Major player.
Better than ever of late, bagging handicaps at Ayr (6f) and Catterick (7f). 5 lb rise for latest success fair enough and he merits respect.
Shaped as though coming back to the boil at Ayr on penultimate start but not so good next time. Others look more solid.
Returned to form when third of 12 in soft-ground Salisbury handicap (6f) last time. Down another 1 lb and shapes as though stepping back up in trip will suit, so he's one to consider.
Good second to an upwardly mobile type at Chepstow in June and by no means disgraced when fourth of 11 at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) last time. Still, he looks vulnerable on balance.
Eight-race maiden who has hit the crossbar on several occasions but failed to improve for the fitting of cheekpieces (retained here) when fifth in 6f Newcastle novice last time.
Shade below par subsequent to scoring over this trip at Thirsk in June. However, has edged back down the weights and will be a threat if he puts his best foot forward.
Dual winner in 2019 but yet to hit top form this season, finishing out with the washing upped to 1¼m at Ayr last time. Hopes pinned on drop back in trip/first-time visor sparking a revival here.
Shaped well both starts in AW novices for William Haggas last year, and again when going close on belated return/debut for new yard at Musselburgh (1m, good). Remains unexposed and big player here.
Some improvement when off the mark in novice at Ayr (6f, good to soft) in August but has since found life tougher back in handicap company.
Winner over 6f at Ripon in July and shaped as though well worth another crack at this trip when fourth at Pontefract last time. Still, others make more appeal from a win point of view.
Winner off 12 lb higher AW mark at Chelmsford last November but 0-5 on turf and may entitled to need the run following a 7-month break. Has undergone wind surgery.

The one who appeals most is the unexposed IT HAD TO BE YOU, who made a very encouraging debut for this yard when going close at Musselburgh. That was his first run for 11 months and improvement is anticipated, with this drop in trip unlikely to pose a problem. Ice Lord returned to form when third at Salisbury last time and is feared, along with Zip and the hat-trick seeking Erich Bloch.
