13/2, career best when winning 12-runner handicap at Newbury (10f, good) 31 days ago, bit in hand. 5 lb rise by no means draconian and should give another good account if handling conditions.

Forecasts

Twpsyn (16/5), Water's Edge (4/1), Sky Power (4/1), Pledge Of Honour (9/2), Taameen (10/1), Molinari (12/1), Fannie By Gaslight (12/1), Tenfold (12/1), Coolongolook (125/1)

Having shaped with promise on debut for Charles Hills in July, TAAMEEN chased home a Gosden-trained hotpot on debut for new yard at Lingfield and should have more to offer now handicapping off what looks a fair opening mark. He gets the nod ahead of another lightly-raced handicap debutant, Sky Power, and top-weight Pledge of Honour, who looked better than ever when scoring at Newbury last month.
