Impressive 7f debut winner at Newcastle before good third of 8 in 1m Newbury novice. Off 12 months but in excellent hands so still looks the one to beat here with better to come.

Fair 7f maiden in 2019. Hooded and unseated rider at the start in 1m handicap at Kempton only run this season. Worth another chance.

Fastnet Rock colt. Closely related to very smart 1¼m-2½m winner Big Orange. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and with leading yard so much respected newcomer. Worth a market check.

Twice-raced maiden on Flat. Poor form over hurdles so very hard to make a case for here.

New Approach filly. Dam 6f-7f winner out of smart 1m winner Muwakleh. Bred to be no back number but this is no easy introduction.

Forecasts

Cape Palace (5/4), Fox Duty Free (2/1), Seasony (13/2), Lydford (7/1), Jeddeyd (16/1), Faadiyah (25/1), Hide Your Heart (150/1), Leannes Lady (500/1)

Verdict

CAPE PALACE has a lengthy absence to overcome but looked a good prospect when last seen on the track so is taken to return in style for the in-form John Gosden yard. Seasony also returns after 12 months off but this Chelmsford debut winner is much respected for Mark Johnston. Newcomer Lydford catches the eye on paper so is worth considering too in an intriguing novice.
