11/10, encouraging debut fourth of 8 in novice over C&D 6 months ago. Fitness is a concern on his return but not ruled out if back fully tuned up.

11/1, left debut form well behind when second of 8 in maiden at Lingfield (8f, AW) in June. Has potential to do better still so must enter calculations.

Forecasts

Driving Force (5/6), Witch Hunt (7/2), Pretty Pickle (7/2), Winnetka (4/1), Mia Dolan (11/2), Ros's Dream (33/1), El Paco (40/1), Strange Brew (50/1), Lakshmi Lola (125/1)

Verdict

A case can be made for a few but David Menuisier's WITCH HUNT stepped up greatly on his debut run when second over 1m at Lingfield and another step forward here will see him prove a tough nut to crack. Newcomer Mia Dolan is in very good hands so is greatly respected, while C&D fourth Driving Force is another who could easily have a say if hitting the ground running after a six-month absence.

  1. WITCH HUNT (IRE)
  2. MIA DOLAN (USA)
  3. DRIVING FORCE
