Four-time C&D winner. Creditable sixth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (14/1) 12 days ago, never nearer. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
16/1, last of 13 in handicap at Southwell (5f) 14 days ago, met some trouble. Looks vulnerable from a win point of view.
Latest win at Chelmsford City in June. 14/1, last of 9 in handicap at Goodwood (5f, heavy) 17 days ago. Good chance if able to bounce back.
Course winner. Tongue strap on for 1st time, unseated rider in handicap at this course (6.1f, 50/1) 12 days ago. Plenty to prove at present.
Three-time C&D winner. Sixth of 7 in handicap (5/1) at this C&D 73 days ago. Perhaps a shade too high in the weights now.
Ninth of 11 in handicap at Chelmsford City (6f, 5/1) 23 days ago. Possibilities judged on effort here on penultimate start when fifth of 13 off 4 lb higher mark.
C&D winner. Latest win at Ripon in August. Respectable fourth of 9 in handicap (17/2) at this C&D 22 days ago. Should make his presence felt.
C&D winner. Twelfth of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (5f, 10/1) 11 days ago. Chance on old form, but he certainly has questions to answer at present.
Good second of 10 in handicap (6/1) at Ripon (5f, good to firm) 39 days ago, nearest finish. First run for yard after leaving Michael Wigham and tongue strap back on. Should be in the mix.
Twice-raced maiden. Visored for 1st time, second of 7 in minor event (6/4) at Bath (5f, good to soft) 21 days ago. May do better now handicapping, but others preferred all the same.
4/1, good second of 10 in minor event at this C&D 22 days ago. Appears to be going the right way and could be a factor if able to take another step forward.
Forecasts
Victory Rose (9/4), Passional (10/3), Ustath (8/1), Hard Solution (17/2), Lethal Blast (9/1), You're Cool (10/1), Moveonup (11/1), Kath's Lustre (14/1), Awsaaf (20/1), Slowmo (33/1), Precious Plum (33/1)
It may be worth siding with KATH'S LUSTRE, who has failed to land a blow on her last 3 starts but there were valid excuses on each occasion. She has edged back down the weights, now just 3 lb above the mark off which she was a decisive winner at Chelmsford in June. Lethal Blast posted her best effort yet when runner-up over C&D last time and is next best ahead of Awsaaf and Hard Solution.
- KATH'S LUSTRE
- LETHAL BLAST
- AWSAAF
