Verdict

ST MARK'S BASILICA was strong in the betting before shaping well in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes over C&D last time, so this should prove no more than a formality for such a promising colt. Newcomers Prince of Verona and Baseman both have eye-catching pedigrees but will likely need the selection to underperform if they're to make a winning start.

  1. ST MARK'S BASILICA (FR)
  2. PRINCE OF VERONA (USA)
  3. BASEMAN
