In decent form this season over staying trips, placed at Bellewstown and, last week, not beaten far in 2m1f soft-ground Galway Races event. Same mark here and claims for yard in form.
Winner of 1m4f Limerick maiden in June and first/second in two runs over hurdles since; handicap bow in this sphere and commands plenty respect.
Authorised gelding won here in 2015; good second at Fairyhouse in seasonal bow and on the board in Curragh apprentice h'cap next time. Well held in the Ladies Derby at the Curragh since but could go well here.
Soft-ground Cork maiden winner in October; well held two starts at the Curragh this season (both 2m) and may needs more than 2lb relief from the assessor on that evidence.
Mare won at Dundalk in February but tends to do best on that surface; close fifth behind Tonkinese at the Curragh last month over 1m4f but not as good either side of that run and opposable.
AW winner in Britain before faltering on the Flat in the spring of 2019; some promise in two 1m4f starts for this trainer recently but untested over this far and has work to do.
Winner over 1m5f here 13 months ago and has tasted success on AW and over hurdles since; well held in pair of 1m4f turf runs recently but could go well here with 5lb claimer on board.
Pulled up in the Galway Plate last week over fences; competitive in both Flat starts this summer at Limerick and Killarney in maidens at 1m4f/1m6f; h'cap debut in this sphere and not one to cross off.
66-1 chance in Ladies Derby at the Curragh last month over 1m4f and shaped with plenty promise before finishing midfield; suited by this longer trip and not a big shock if he's in the mix.
Seven-race maiden on the Flat but improved showing last week on first turf handicap run; finishing 7½L off the winner in eighth. Cheekpieces back on and may build on that run.
Down the field in a Thurles maiden over 2m on soft ground when last spotted 10 months ago; others preferred on form.
Has won around here in the past but now on a 13-race losing sequence; decent effort last time at Ballinrobe (1m5f, good) and may threaten place money.
Twice a winner last month at Bellewstown (1m6f) and the Curragh (1m4f); continues to be in good form having found only Dark Avenger too strong at Galway (1m4f, soft) last week and can give another good account.

Forecasts
Shanroe (3/1), Peregrine Run (7/2), Dalileo (11/2), The Mouse Doctor (6/1), Monoxide (11/1), Tonkinese (14/1), Harriet Tubman (14/1), Allora Yeats (14/1), Tirmizi (16/1), Ringo Kid (16/1), Estijmaam (25/1), Lusis Naturea (28/1), Falak (33/1), Cautious Approach (50/1), Freetown (100/1)
Peregrine Run was pulled up in last week's Galway Plate but could bounce back in this sphere while a return to staying on the Flat is also likely to suit Dalileo. Allora Yeats found only one too good at Ballybrit five days ago and may go well but this might fall to SHANROE; on first start in a handicap on the level. He won at Limerick in June on first start in this code and has won/finished second in two hurdles outings since.
- Shanroe
- Dalileo
- Allora Yeats
