14-race maiden who has shown glimpses of promise on a couple of occasions but not enough to recommend him as a solid proposition in this contest. Gives weight away all round & while he has ran some of his better races at 6f, place claims at best.
Still 6lb above her last winning mark & does need to bounce back from ending 2019 on a sour note. However, despite the big field this isn't the most competitive of races so she could run into a place.
Only won one of his 36 career starts, but definite claims on the form of either of his last two starts in defeat at Navan (6f; good to firm/soft). 3lb higher for the latest of those & firmly in the mix.
11lb below last winning mark but really struggling for form at the moment, & he didn't look to have benefitted for a break when down the field at Cork (6f; good) on first start for five-months.
Likeable profile. Took his form to a new level when an improved second (only beaten a head) on his seasonal/stable/handicap debut at Fairyhouse (6f; good to firm). Only 3lb higher & there is likely more to come on just second start for connections.
Very modest strike-rate on turf (1-30). Been running on the AW at Dundalk of late without making much of an impression. 244-day absence to defy also so hard to make a convincing case for.
Posted a trio of solid efforts in defeat since making a winning return to action at Navan (6f; good to firm) in June. Won off this mark over C&D in 2018 so if he could just raise his game marginally it would be no surprise to see him run well.
Yet to win in 11 starts on grass but demonstrated he is capable of running well on turf when fourth at Fairyhouse (7f; good) three starts ago. Bit below-par since but turf mark is 9lb lower than AW mark.
Made a pretty poor handicap/seasonal debut when only managing to beat one rival home in a 15-runner affair at Tipperary (5f; yielding). Difficult to fancy on that basis and can be easily opposed.
Backwards step when only seventh after being sent off the 9/2jf over 5f at this track when last seen. Must now bounce back but has place claims on the strength of his two third-placed efforts (also at this track) before that.
Regressive in recent times as highlighted by his latest effort when he was eased down over 5f at this track to finish last of 18 in November. Handicapper dropped him 12lb over the winter but still has too much to prove on seasonal debut.
0-6. Hard to say anything positive about him overall. Only beat two home in 16-runner affair at Leopardstown (7f; good) on his first run in eight-months. Ruled out with confidence.
Readily opposed given what limited ability he has shown in a handful of starts to date. This is a marked drop in trip after he suffered a heavy defeat on handicap bow at Navan (1m2f; yielding).
Winless for almost three years, but he did offer some encouragement that the spark could still be there when fifth at 80-1 over C&D a month ago. That was his best effort for some time & place claims if able to build upon it.
5lb lower on turf than on AW. Losing run is beginning to mount up (winless since February 2019) & his mark has plummeted since then. Failed to show much enthusiasm when held over 5f at this course last time out.
Five-race maiden. Drops back in trip to 6f for the first time in a year. Only minor improvement shown since he has been sent handicapping & a surprise if he was capable of threatening in this on all known form.

Teddy Boy (3/1), Blastofmagic (4/1), Ticks The Boxes (6/1), Improving (13/2), Enter The Red (7/1), Hell Left Loose (9/1), Doonard Prince (10/1), Eacharn (12/1), The Cola Kid (14/1), Canford Art (16/1), Harry Speed (16/1), Indiana Grey (16/1), Camogue Wood (25/1), Lapilli (25/1), It's All A Joke (33/1), So Familiar (33/1), Ustinov (33/1), Hot Dakota (50/1), Kasbah (50/1), Castrogiovanni (66/1), Yellowford (100/1)
Quite a few of these are struggling for form & can therefore be ruled out pretty quickly. Despite the fact he has yet to win in 14 starts, Improving is unexposed at this trip & he has ran his more encouraging races when seen over 6f so could run into a place again. Ticks The Boxes has returned to the track in pretty consistent form this summer and looks likely to go close once more. Ready preference is for THE COLA KID though who stepped up notably on his previous showings to go down by just a head when having his first start for Michael Browne on turf/handicap debut. His lightly raced profile means there should be plenty more to come & he can go one better off just 3lb higher.
