Forecasts
Teddy Boy (3/1), Blastofmagic (4/1), Ticks The Boxes (6/1), Improving (13/2), Enter The Red (7/1), Hell Left Loose (9/1), Doonard Prince (10/1), Eacharn (12/1), The Cola Kid (14/1), Canford Art (16/1), Harry Speed (16/1), Indiana Grey (16/1), Camogue Wood (25/1), Lapilli (25/1), It's All A Joke (33/1), So Familiar (33/1), Ustinov (33/1), Hot Dakota (50/1), Kasbah (50/1), Castrogiovanni (66/1), Yellowford (100/1)
Quite a few of these are struggling for form & can therefore be ruled out pretty quickly. Despite the fact he has yet to win in 14 starts, Improving is unexposed at this trip & he has ran his more encouraging races when seen over 6f so could run into a place again. Ticks The Boxes has returned to the track in pretty consistent form this summer and looks likely to go close once more. Ready preference is for THE COLA KID though who stepped up notably on his previous showings to go down by just a head when having his first start for Michael Browne on turf/handicap debut. His lightly raced profile means there should be plenty more to come & he can go one better off just 3lb higher.
