Well beaten fifth in a 6f handicap at Ripon (good) last month when returning to turf. Has won off higher marks on the all-weather in the past but is probably best watched as he seeks a first turf victory at the 16th time of asking.

Shown good form so far this season following up a neck victory over this trip at Chepstow at the end of June with two good second place finishes. One for the shortlist racing off a mark 4lb higher than for that Chepstow triumph.

Verdict

COOL STRUTTER has been in good form this campaign and he can register his second victory of the season by taking the concluding sprint handicap. The selection has run well here in the past and he can reverse last months running with Alba Del Sole who looks capable of finishing runner-up ahead of Undercover Brother who can put a disappointing effort last time out behind him to claim third.
  1. Cool Strutter
  2. Alba Del Sole
  3. Undercover Brother
