Forecasts

The Rain King (15/8), Castel Gandolfo (10/3), Chimeric (13/2), Eshtiya (7/1), Crassus (8/1), Roundel (10/1), Fastnet Crown (10/1), Liam's Approval (14/1), Berlusconi (66/1), Muyam Spirit (66/1), Empire Street (66/1), Fennor Cross (80/1), Patriant Saint (80/1), Movie King (100/1), Matilda With Me (200/1), Wish Me (250/1)

Verdict

Trainer Donnacha O'Brien can saddle another Galway festival winner in THE RAIN KING. The three-year-old has been shaping well and showing a good attitude in a couple of initial starts at Naas and the Curragh in June. The No Nay Never colt can get the better of the potential improver in the shape of Castel Gandolfo for the Jessica Harrington yard. With a couple of definite improvers in the line-up the likes of Crassus in first-time blinkers, the Sheila Lavery-trained Chimeric and Liam's Approval for Joseph O'Brien should not be underestimated.
  1. The Rain King
  2. Castel Gandolfo
  3. Crassus
