Frustrating who should have won more than he has (races often characterised by a tame finishing effort), typified by his run when last seen in November. Back on his last winning mark reverting to 2m but hard to teat with any more than care.

French hurdle winner who has questions to answer over chasing career, fell second-time out in France, pulled up both fencing start in GB for this yard. Wind op ahead of return, comes with risks but does reside on a good mark based on hurdles form.

Winning Irish pointer, off the mark at the second attempt over hurdles at Market Rasen last May (looked as though he would be suited by further). Failed to bac that hurdles run up (twice); offered something on chase/handicap debut over C&D recently.

Enigmatic chaser whose form is erratic but was clearly on a going day last time when making all at Uttoxeter over 2m overcoming some a bad mid-race error. Up 7lb it will be a question of which mood he's as to whether he can follow up or not.

Put behind him a row of form figures that looked like a bad deal at Scrabble (four P's in a row) to return to form out of leftfield over C&D last time. The returning headgear may have helped, up 5lb it remains to be seen if he's in the same form.

Chasing winner in France, bitterly disappointing for this yard over obstacles especially of late where he looks well treated but awkward also. Attitude looked quirky over fences last time, new headgear combination now tried, not one to trust.

Uno Mas18
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: Jack Tudor(5)| T: Christian Williams| OR:  96| D
8/1
Prolific winner over hurdles in 2018/19 usually finding plenty for pressure over staying trips although has won at 2m. Lost his way since that purple patch, continued below form last time when sent chasing for the first time, hard to recommend.

Forecasts

Tikkinthebox (3/1), Lord Condi (3/1), Dogon (9/2), Youracert (9/2), Uno Mas (8/1), Poker School (14/1), Brave Dancing (20/1)

Verdict

Not hard to have doubts about both of the last time out winners with Tikkinthebox and Lord Condi both having to prove their worth after their last wins. The former has never been the most consistent while the latter has to show that the headgear will work as well again off a 5lb higher mark. Both are capable of winning on their previous form but can’t be totally relied upon. That’s an epithet that can be levelled at the hugely disappointing Dogon who is now tried in headgear having looked very awkward last time. Poker School is hard to win with despite being on a good mark so YOURACERT gets a tentative vote to reverse placings with Lord Condi after their recent meeting over C&D.
  1. Youracert
  2. Lord Condi
  3. Poker School
