Horse A-Z
Runner-up to a potentially above average filly in the form of Pomelo on debut at Newbury (7f; good). Not open to as much improvement for the step up in trip but that form looks the strongest on offer. Subsequently the one to beat.

Finished behind fifth Teodolina (3rd) on debut at Newmarket (6f; good to soft) when showing signs of greenness throughout. Should improve with that experience under her belt and the step up to 7f in her favour. Watch market for clues.

Posted likeable debut effort when third to two decent enough yardsticks at Kempton (7f; standard to slow). Likely to come on from that & pedigree suggests she could still make up into a talented sort.

Did well to finish third on debut at Yarmouth (7f; good to firm) to a pair of rivals with experience after getting off to a tardy start. Half-sister to the exciting Fancy Blue who runs in the Nassau Stakes. Likely player.

Kodiac filly made 60,000gns as a yearling. Half-sister to a turf winner in the US over 5f. One of two newcomers in this contest for the yard. Stable second string judged on jockey bookings.

Awtaad filly. Half-sister to connections' Eden Rose who has won over 1m6f-2m. Likely to need further in time and the yard haven't had a winner for nearly two weeks now (43 runners in that time). Others look stronger on debut.
By Twilight Son. Sales price rose notably from €62,000 as a yearling to 210,000gns as a two-year-old. Half-sister to four winners over trips ranging from 5f-7f. Top yard enjoying 26% strike-rate (16-62) over the last 14 days. Market check advised.

Showed promise on debut behind a potentially smart filly when third at Newmarket (6f; good to soft). Likely to improve for this extra furlong (full sister to a 1m1f winner). Should make a bold bid to get off the mark.

50,000gns yearling. By Exceed And Excel. Dam an unraced half-sister to the top class Izzi Top & Jazzi Top. One to watch in the betting on debut for yard among the winners.

Forecasts

Teodolina (11/8), Miss Chess (10/3), Spirit Of Bermuda (8/1), Dreams Unwind (9/1), Iconic Queen (11/1), Great Vibes (12/1), Zooma (14/1), Nazuna (25/1), Saulire Star (40/1)

Verdict

Newmarket rivals Teodolina and Great Vibes are open to improvement as they tackle 7f for the first time. They are closely matched on their debut form, but the latter looked the more inexperienced of the pair so could reverse the form. The well-bred Iconic Queen is surely capable of more than she showed on debut as is Miss Chess. The newcomers Zooma and Spirit Of Bermuda are highly respected if popular in the betting. However, the one with the strongest form in the book is DREAMS UNWIND who was unlucky to bump into a potentially high-class Juddmonte filly on debut and can now go one better in this slightly weaker looking affair.
  1. Dreams Unwind
  2. Iconic Queen
  3. Teodolina
