Five-race maiden on the Flat. Well held and never nearer beaten 44L at the Galway festival when last seen on track 12 months ago. Looks vulnerable once again.

Four-race maiden and not really improving. Put firmly in her place behind smart sort at the Curragh in October and looks vulnerable to improvers.

Daughter of Elzaam. €3,000 purchase as a yearling. Beaten a long way on debut at Naas over 1m finishing 16th of the 18 runners earlier this month. Hard to fancy.

Make Believe filly who cost €30,000 as a yearling. Well held and no impression in a couple of initial career starts so far, both in her juvenile year. Looks a tough ask on seasonal debut.

Excelebration filly with plenty winners in the family. Promising fourth on debut at this venue over 7f earlier this month and runners from this yard tend to come on from a run.

Still a maiden but has put in some fair performances in defeat including in a couple of recent starts at Leopardstown over 1m2f and at Killarney over 1m earlier this month. Looks a progressive type and shortlisted here.

Sixrace maiden sending a number of mixed messages over a variety of trips since making her debut at Newmarket in November. Could be of interest in the market dropping in trip.

Pour Moi filly. Dam was a 7f winner who is related to winning juveniles and Irish Oaks/Prix Vermeille winner Shawanda. Well held, beaten 26L on debut at the Curragh earlier this month.

Daughter of Fasnet Rock. Well fancied before disappointing on both career starts so far, both since racing returned last month. Strong possibility of an improved effort in first-time cheekpieces.

Soldier Hollow half-sister to 2-y-o 1m winner Quian and 1m1f winner Queens Street out of a winning half-sister to Italian/German G1 winner Quijano. Plenty to like about her progressive profile in a couple of starts so far.
Improved on her second career start with a switch to the AW at Dundalk earlier this month to finish fourth of the 12 runners beaten 4¼L. Tough ask on return to turf.

Teofilo filly. Sister to smart 7f performer Tobann and useful 1m2f winner Team Decision. Unfortunate not to be off the mark already judging by a couple of gallant efforts at Leopardstown and the Curragh last month.

€12,000 purchase as a foal. Half-sister to 1m1f winner Hurricane Cliff, 1m4f winner Miss Louise and Italian 1m winner Baffonero. Not disgraced on debut run at the Curragh earlier this month but much more needed here.

Verdict

The Johnny Murtagh-trained LAGGATA, daughter of Soldier Hollow can continue here by building on a solid start to her career. The filly can improve once again following a career best effort at Roscommon last month running Baraniya to ¾L in the 14-runner maiden. The race has produced the third, Maud Gonne Spirit and the ninth place, Red Pantz to win since. The Willie McCreery-trained Epona Plays has put in some fair performances in defeat including in a couple of recent starts at Leopardstown over 1m2f and at Killarney over 1m earlier this month, can emerge as the biggest danger. Grenadine for trainer Aidan O'Brien and Bounce The Blues look next best.
