Dansili filly. Not really offered much on debut when eighth of 13 at Dundalk over 7f in November before a similar effort over 1m2f on reappearance at Leopardstown last month. Handicaps possibly the way forward.

Daughter of Excelebration out of a Danetime mare. Closely related to Sioux Frontier, winner between 1m½f/1m4½f. Possibly not a great sign the filly wears a hood on debut.

Two-race maiden, one of the few juvenile who refused to perform for the yard last season. Not seen on track since October, the market is likely to be the best guide on return.

Has returned in good form and appears to be progressing well as proved in a career best effort over 1m at Leopardstown earlier this month finishing second of nine runners behind Gin Blossom. Remains with potential.

Daughter of Mahler out of an Oscar mare. Cost €5,200 as a foal. Armagh yard, saddlers of The Jam Man and The Trigger not renowned for winners on the Flat.
Daughter of Galileo. No surprise to witness improvement from debut effort to second run at the Curragh earlier this month. Entitled to have designs on prize money in this company.

Dragon Pulse filly. Shaping well with a good attitude in a couple of starts so far at Tipperary last month and at this venue earlier this month over 7f. Overall profile suggests she is worth taking on again.

Daughter of Born To Sea, appears an improving sort. Running well in defeat in both contests since racing resumed last month. Open to progress, once again, but needs more to trouble the market leaders.

Remains a maiden but boasts strong credentials having finished third in Irish 1,000 Guineas on reappearance and fourth since in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. Big chance to get off the mark.

So Wonderful (1/1), Never Forgotten (3/1), Sea The Magic (6/1), Pirate Lass (13/2), Miss Molly T (16/1), Katie Bo Kat (25/1), Awaasef (33/1), Petticoat Rule (50/1), Sweeproad (66/1), Maccliff (66/1), Indian Sioux (150/1), She's In The Game (150/1), Poster Child (150/1), Miss Polly Shelby (150/1), Shizaam (200/1)

Verdict

Difficult to see past the clear and obvious chance of the Aidan O'Brien-trained SO WONDERFUL. The daughter of War Front can get off the mark at the 13th time of asking for connections following a number of solid efforts this term in Group 1 company at the Curragh and Royal Ascot. Never Forgotten in the colours of the Coolmore operation for trainer Joseph O'Brien appears to be the biggest threat in a contest where few may get in to. Awaasef for trainer Dermot Weld, the Jessica Harrington-trained Katie Bo Kat and newcomer Sea The Magic appear next best.
  1. So Wonderful
  2. Never Forgotten
  3. Katie Bo Kat
