Sole C&D winner in the field (also won here at 7f), C&D win the first leg of a late-season hat-trick in 2019 when with Henry Spiller. Back to best, 7f here last time, fulfilling the benefit of reappearance, back to 6f (best distance), sound claims.
Useful AW sort (particularly on Fibresand, 5-10), yet to win on turf 0-13, has shown some placed form on this surface. Found his good recent run of form coming to a halt last time (started slowly), overall his profile gives room for doubt.
Took a major step forward in her development at Windsor (6.1f, good) two starts ago (back from a break) with a good second. Disappointingly failed to build on that start in two subsequent runs at 5f/6f, comes here under a cloud, questions to answer.
Consistent enough sort but hardly looks a winner waiting to happen travelling well through his race last time before typically being found wanting at the finish, Back on his last winning mark (was also last time), career record of 2-33 sums him up.
6f nursery winner at Thirsk who ran well for his in-form yard on reappearance but needed to pass a vets inspection at the start last time. Ran badly (found to be suffering from thumps post-race), now has to bounce back after being rested.
Gained a deserved first success after some consistent effort when winning at Wolverhampton (6.1f, slow) recently. Travelled well (won by a head), form franked by subsequent win of the third, needs to prove herself on turf (run poorly over C&D).
Quickly switched to handicaps taking advantage of the new rules (only had two starts) having shown some mild promise plus inexperience over 5f on AW. Makes some appeal on pedigree/jockey booking, steps up to 6f, yard are rather quiet of late.
Tongue-tie (first-time) now joins the usual visor in a bid to break a losing spell that now extends back to the summer of 2016. Struggled to get involved over 5.1f on the AW last time (under inexperienced rider), not one to be confident about.

Forecasts
Herringswell (16/5), Sandridge Lad (9/2), Harbour Point (11/2), Prince Casper (11/2), Sparkling Diamond (6/1), Craigburn (13/2), The Lacemaker (7/1), Fard (15/2), My Town Chicago (20/1), John Joiner (80/1)
Hard to be confident about the majority of these most coming with some form of cloud hanging over their profile. One who doesn’t have such suspicions about their career record is HERRINGSWELL who goes well here (3133413) and very much looked as though she was returning to her best with a 3rd here last time over 7f. This step back to 6f will suit ideally having shown she can cope with this mark. Both Sandridge Lad and Wolverhampton winner Sparkling Diamond need to prove themselves on turf while Craigburn has to bounce back from a case of thumps (irregular spasming of the diaphragm) last time. Fard is hard to rely on for win purposes while Prince Casper is from a stable struggling for winners.
