Won a maiden at the Curragh (1m, good/yld) last year when trained by Dermot Weld. Has left him since last seen in October and makes his debut for this trainer from a mark that looks very competitive based on his best form. Interesting.
Dual 1m winner, his turf success coming on fast ground at Leicester in May last year, when 1lb higher. Has been some way below that level of form in three starts for this trainer, so needs a revival in fortunes.
Multiple winner over this trip on turf/AW, twice from marks higher than today's. Usually goes well when fresh, so his stable debut last time therefore has to go down as a bit of a disappointment. Much more needed.
Dual scorer over 1m, the latest coming at Haydock last time (good) when he was game in a driving finish. Up 2lb for that, and a repeat effort would entitle him to serious consideration.
Dual 1m turf winner on good/firm ground. Kept on well to be 1½L third at Bath last time, and a 1lb drop won't harm here, so he is entitled to plenty of respect.
Picked up where he left off in the winter when scoring at Lingfield (1m, AW) last month, and improved on that to follow-up successfully on turf at Newbury (1m, good) next time. 5lb rise and better company found him out last time. More needed.
Four-time AW winner who has been placed in half of her 12 turf starts, but remains a maiden on this surface. Had a tough assignment at Royal Ascot on her reappearance, but can't rule her out of the money back in this grade.
Placed in 3-3 AW starts so far, all at around 1m. Best of that trip was when last seen in February. Enters handicaps on a feasible mark based on that run, and if he can improve then he could be thereabouts again on his turf debut.
Improving colt who added to his two juvenile AW successes when completing a hat-trick by the narrowest of margins on his handicap debut at Doncaster last time. Up just 1lb for that, and there could be more to come.
Improving colt who broke his duck in a Windsor maiden (1m, good to firm) last month, when making all. Initial mark looks stiff enough based on that effort, but he looks likely to find more and should again be thereabouts.
Won a heavy ground Redcar seller (1m2f) last year and added a Southwell handicap (1m, AW) in January, when 3lb lower. Has been a long way below that level in two further starts. Others preferred.
Confirmed the promise of his C&D debut when scoring next time in a Bath novice event (1m, good to soft) last September. Initial handicap mark looked stiff for his reappearance at Haydock (1m2f, soft), so much more needed here.
Won a heavy ground Nottingham maiden (1m½f, heavy) last October and improved on that when stepped up to 1m4f at Doncaster on his reappearance. Held at Haydock latest. Cheekpieces discarded and drops in trip again, but needs to raise his game.

Forecasts
Notforalongtime (3/1), Zegalo (7/2), Kafee (6/1), Alibaba (6/1), Surrey Pride (10/1), Kodiac Harbour (10/1), Mostawaa (11/1), Pledge Of Honour (11/1), Fortune And Glory (16/1), Enigmatic (18/1), Kattani (18/1), Note Bleu (20/1), Mr Tyrrell (22/1), Delicate Kiss (28/1), Lightning Attack (200/1)
A competitive way to close the evening. Notforalongtime is much respected after scoring at Doncaster, while Pledge Of Honour looks interesting on his turf debut. Kafee, Mr Tyrrell and Mostawaa are others of interest, but the suggestion is topweight KATTANI, whose trainer is good at reviving those he takes on from elsewhere, and this gelding looks very interesting from this mark.
- Kattani
- Notforalongtime
- Pledge Of Honour
