Aussie Rules gelding out of a 1m AW winner. Didn't show too much on debut over C&D in April 2019 and hasn't been seen since. Hard to see him making much impression.

Showcasing gelding out of a 6f 2yo winner who also placed in Group company. Makes a belated racecourse debut and with yard not known for first time out Flat winners looks to face a stiff task.
Yard has won this race twice in the last eight years, including 12 months ago. Medaglia D'Oro colt out of a mare placed at between 1m2f-1m6f. Yard has 29% strike rate here so has to enter calculations despite lack of experience.
150,000gns son of Le Havre out of 1m4f winner. Lost loads of ground at start on debut at Lingfield 1m2f last month but finished off well to take eyecatching third. Gelded since and looks a player if jumping off on terms this time.

Muhaarar colt who is half-brother to Group 2 5f-6f winner Zebedee and two others. Dam placed in Listed company at 1m2f. Looked backward when distant sixth of 8 on debut recently at Newbury and needs to take big step forward to figure.
Stable companion of Chai Yo Power. Debut for this son of Fastnet Rock out of a 1m6f winner. Likely to stay further and will do well to win first time out for yard havng a fairly quiet spell of late.

50,000 euros Zoffany gelding out of a Galileo mare. Didn't run too badly when fifth of seven on debut at Bath 1m last month where ran green but showed enough to suggest he can win a race. Will be suited by the extra 2f this time.

$75,000 US bred son of Lemon Drop Kid out of US 1m turf and dirt winner. Yard has 18% strike rate here with three-year-olds so worth checking for signs of any stable confidence.

15/8
Nicely bred Sea The Stars colt who showed benefit of debut run at Newmarket 1m last month when going close at Bath earlier this month 1m, just failing by a neck. Extra 2f looks right call and is one for the shortlist.

Sepoy gelding out of yard's German 1000 Guineas winner Unforgettable Filly. Makes racecourse bow with tongue-tie applied and worth checking for any market move in his favour.

375,000gns Muhaaraar colt, half-brother to seven winners. Showed promise when fifth over 1m on debut at Kempton then was well held fourth at Doncaster latest but disaqualified for not weighing in. Extra 2f should suit but may find a few too good.
105,000 euros No Nay Never filly out of 7f winner. Did well on debut when stayed on to finish second at Yarmouth 1m2f earlier this month. No reason why she shouldn't be right in the mix with that experience to draw on.

Helmet filly out of unraced Celtic Swing mare. Showed little to write home about when 11th of 12 in Kempton 1m maiden last month. Step up in trip looks right call but she has a lot of improvement to find to figure.

Nicely bred Intello filly out of French 1m winner but has shown little spark in two starts so far and looks to face a stiff task on evidence to date.

Footstepsinthesand filly who started at odds of 150/1 on debut at Pontefract 1m2f a couple of weeks ago and looks set to struggle again at this similar level. Hard to enthuse over.
By Derby winner Ruler Of The World and is half-sister to AW three-time 1m winner. Looks type to be more suited to handicaps and will do very well to get close here on debut.

Forecasts

Star Of Wins (15/8), Arabian Romance (2/1), Chai Yo Power (10/3), Hasty Sailor (12/1), Bright Start (14/1), Winter Thorn (16/1), Word Of Honour (22/1), Jen's Fella (33/1), Unforgetable Colt (40/1), Calm Down (50/1), King Charles (66/1), Divine Consent (66/1), Rockinovertheworld (150/1), Onedownunder (200/1), Bay May (200/1), Fulbeck Girl (250/1)

Verdict

Saeed Bin Suroor has a decent record in this race and runs two here with ARABIAN ROMANCE looking the clear first string. She is fancied to go one better than the good second achieved on debut at Yarmouth a few weeks ago. Star Of Wins is bred to be decent and went the right way from first to second runs when narrowly beaten at Bath recently. The extra 2f should be right up his street. CHai Yo Power lost a lot of ground at the start before finishing with a flourish into third at Lingfield and is interesting, while of the newcomers Unforgettable Colt, Hasty Sailor and Bright Start are worth noting for signs of any stable confidence.
  1. Arabian Romance
  2. Chai Yo Power
  3. Star Of Wins
