Improved in first-time hood when stepping up to this distance when 1L fourth at Leicester last time. Not surprisingly hood retained and claims now connections have found his optimum trip.
Showed little in trip of maidens last term but better now handicapping at this trip when close fourth at Leicester on comeback run. Visor now tried and looks open to improvement.
Ordinary form in maidens to date including when stepping up to 1m3f last time and needs this switch to handicaps to transform her on the evidence to date.
0-10 and although penultimate run offered some hope, he failed to build on it last time and beginning to look exposed compared to the rest of these.
Best run was her last with Hughie Morrison in January but not progressing in three runs for current yard and needs to take a step forward.
Expensive yearling in 2018 but showed nothing in three maidens when with Ed Dunlop and needs the switch in stables and into handicaps to bring about drastic improvement.
Game effort to get off the mark over 1m at Kempton in November and again ran well when second at Wolverhampton shortly after but absent since and now stepping up in trip. Claims if she stays.
Has failed to beat a single rival in trip of maidens and on the evidence to date is hard to make a case for. Cheekpieces now go on.
Managed to beat a rival for the first time on latest but looks very moderate and hard to fancy from 10lb out of the weights.
Forecasts
Anno Maximo (9/4), Costello (9/4), Global Agreement (11/2), Folie D'Amour (15/2), Lafontaine (9/1), Ampney Red (12/1), Lovers' Gait (16/1), Toolmaker (66/1), Mrs Tiffen (150/1)
ANNO MAXIMO is bred to be better than she has shown to date and having showed his first sign of ability at Leicester last time, the first-time visor won't need to bring about that much improvement to get off the mark here. Costello is another who now looks as though the right trip has been found and he looks the main danger with Lafontaine next best in a weak contest.
- Anno Maximo
- Costello
- Lafontaine
