2-2 in handicaps and wasn't fully extended in either of her last two starts; going the right way and, as her dam is a half-sister to a 1m2f winner, the trip may not be much of an issue. Must be considered (3lb well-in despite the 6lb penalty).
His yard has enjoyed a great spell from selective placement of horses, so the gelding enters calculations as one to note irrespective of the fact he flopped on handicap debut in June. The betting can guide as to whether today's ground will suit.
Has some experience of racing on turf in Deauville, France, but lacks experience of the UK turf scene. A case can be made for him on the pick of his AW exploits (won over 1m2f at Lingfield in January) but gone off the boil since. Others appeal more.
Yard is in flying form and can be relied upon to find highly suitable openings as younger horses gain in experience. This colt has a very likable pedigree but made little impression on his handicap debut last month; still looks a work in progress.
Hinted at more to come with three fairly solid efforts prior to her handicap debut last month; that outing at Redcar (1m2f, firm) didn't reap much reward and it's not hard to see why she's been dropped 2lb since. Might still need a bit more time.
Finished third on debut at Wolverhampton last October (Glenties has come out of the race to subsequently win a handicap, so the portents looks promising). Two starts since have been less inspiring, though. Improvement needed on handicap debut.
Up in trip and plenty to prove after nine previous attempts at getting off the mark have proved fruitless. The new distance needs to bring about a highly improved display.
Won a seller at Wolverhampton (8½f) in February but seen just once since (when second in an apprentices handicap on Firbresand three weeks later). Switched yards recently and only interesting if supported in the betting on seasonal debut.
Still has scope but he made an inauspicious start to handicapping when tried in blinkers at Windsor in June; and must better that effort by some way if he's going to have an impact. Significant enough doubts to just monitor his progress this time.
The merits of his form in Sweden bear little correlation to British handicaps and, with his yard going through a quiet spell, it's probably safest to see how he fares this time around (UK/stable/handicap debut).

The step up trip should be fine for ROSA GOLD (her dam won a 1m2f Listed race at Newbury before being shipped off to finish her racing career in the USA) and, given the manner of her two handicap wins so far, the filly looks be be progressing a bit too quickly for the rest of this lot to cope with. Soramond is up in grade and shoulders 3lb more after scraping her way to land a class 6 handicap last month; she's still respected in this company. Whereas Savanna Gold and Flashing Approach both need to improve but represent trainers that have excelled in nurturing similar talent so cannot confidently be ruled out.
