By Derby winner Harzand out of a half-sister to Dante Stakes winner Bonfire. This trip seems about right starting out, although yard's juveniles yet to hit the mark this term.
Much better effort to date when 3¾L fourth of 11 to Smooth Spirit in a 7f maiden at Wolverhampton last time. Plenty more needed, and she must settle better if she's to fulfil the promise she's shown.
Out of a winner at up to 1¼m, and caught the eye when running on to be third of 12 to Tanfantic in a 6f novice at Windsor. Promise there given she started slowly, and she ought to be suited by this longer trip.
Charm Spirit half-sister to 7f winner Lofty out of a mare who won over 1¼m and 1m3½f. Yard can ready a newcomer, but yet to register a place with a handful of 2-y-o runners this summer.
Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Fire Palace and 1¼m winner Midnight Mood, out of a 1½m winner. Needed debut experience when 16L sixth of 7 in a 6f novice at Chepstow. Attracted support there, and that suggests better was anticipated.
Cheap purchase who improved on her debut form when 4L second of 5 to Emotional Moment in a 7f maiden at Kempton last time. Fair bit more needed to get competitive here.
Havana Gold half-sister to 6f-1m winner Blast Off. Stablemate of Mia Mia, and betting should hep identify which, if either, is better fancied.
Markaz half-sister to 7f/1m winner Belle Et Bete and 6f-1m winner Bonjour Bob. Quite a cheap purchase, and yard 0-11 with juveniles since start of last month.
Forecasts
Jazzi'o (1/1), Greycious Girl (9/2), Desert Vision (13/2), Professional Widow (15/2), Twilight Flame (10/1), Harrier Hawk (18/1), Mia Mia (22/1), Have To Have (22/1)
JAZZI'O came home strongly after an awkward start at Windsor, and she should be much more polished with that behind her, while the longer trip is also sure to suit. She looks a solid bet in an ordinary event of its type, with Twilight Flame suggested as a danger despite disappointing on her debut at Chepstow. Greycious Girl and Desert Vision are progressive at a modest level, and can get involved with experience on their respective sides.
- Jazzi'o
- Twilight Flame
- Greycious Girl
