Decent AW handicapper who is 6-15 in that sphere and rattled off a 1m2f hat-trick at Lingfield this winter. Soon beaten on return on turf at Haydock last month and has yet to reach a place on turf in four attempts to date.
No great shakes in four French outings for Alain de Royer-Dupre but has done very well since joining current handler winning 1m handicaps at Haydock and Goodwood in June. Stays the 2f longer trip and could improve again to score off 7lb higher.
Won for Daniel Kubler last season in Chester 1m2f h'cap and has started well for new yard following Newmarket second last month with a convincing 1m2f victory at Newbury a few days later. Handicapped raised him 8lb but has top man on board.
All four wins have come at 1m, the most recent at Goodwood last June off 4lb lower mark. Not seen in action for nearly nine months and on balance is expected to be better for this outing.
Unexposed Gio Ponti gelding who has had just three starts, winnng the first two over 7f at Wolverhampton then well beaten on handicap bow over 1m at Kempton in February. Turf debut following a break and could go well.
Last win came over 1m4f at Chepstow in May 2019 but ran plenty of good races in defeat last year. Again ran well when second last time off this mark over C&D and should give another good account of himself.
13-time winner but on a long losing run stretching back to January 2019. All but one of his wins have come on AW and is not the same horse on turf (1-22). Not disgraced when fifth over 1m at Yarmouth last time but others make more appeal.
C&D winner in June 2017 but only one triumph since then and returns following mroe than a year on the sidelines. Expected to prove better for this first start back.
Did well last summer winning at Brighton and Newmarket but was beaten a long way on his first start back from the break at HQ ast time and appears to face a tough task despite being eased 2lb.

VARIYAN has proved a revelation since joining his current handler from France and impressed in both victories this side of the Channel over a mile. He stayed well enough in France so the step up in trip is within his compass and he should make a bold bid to defy his latest 7lb rise. Carp Kid is consistent and ran another sound race last time. He will be in there pitching where it matters most, while Involved won in good style at HQ last month and despite being raised 8lb is expected to give another good account. Sherpa Trail is lightly raced and has only been beaten once so deserves respect, and City Tour has a squeak too with the first-time visor now applied.
