Verdict

A fiendishly difficult event with a host of horses having sound claims. The booking of the champion jockey (who won on her last season) looks significant for the mare BELATED BREATH who ran creditably in a better race last time and may just prove good enough. Open Wide loves it here and has never been out of the frame so another bold show is anticipated, and hat-trick seeking Revolutionise is in great heart and should give it a good go despite going up the weights. Among others with a chance are The Cruising Lord, Beyond Equal and recent C&D winner Arcanada who goes well for his apprentice rider. Top weight Louie De Palma is another to consider.
