Multiple winner from 1m2f-2m on ground with good in the description (handles softer). Was back from 701-day absence with pleasing effort in Listed Doncaster race last month (1m6f, good) and on workable mark if able to build on his 5L third there.
Found only Scarlet Dragon too strong in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m4f, soft) last time and can run his race again despite being 5lb higher for that effort.
33-1 winner of the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m4f, soft) last time (Deja second). 6lb penalty makes this tougher but capable from this sort of mark and Cieren Fallon takes off some of the burden; player again with ground to suit.
Ran close to his best form when fourth behind Scarlet Dragon and Deja in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m4f, soft) last time; nice turnaround at these weights with both rivals so bold showing anticipated.
Ex-John Gosden inmate, shaped quite well in Doncaster Listed race last month (1m6f, good) when fourth (Euchen Glen third); fairly luckless experience in Northumberland Plate last week (clipped heels); three quick runs after long absence a concern.
Won a big pot at Haydock in September (1m6f, soft) before disappointing in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket. Fancied in betting for recent Royal Ascot return (1m6f, good) and shaped well; could have a say now sharper/down in trip.
Attracted a lot of money ahead of the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Ascot (1m4f, soft; 7-1) last time and travelled with plenty gusto before finding less than looked likely and finishing fifth (three of these ahead); visored now with mark unchanged.
Career-best when winning on debut for this yard at Haydock 28 days ago; can be slowly away and this is a tougher race from new mark so can't afford to get caught napping.
Dual Group 3 winner at up to 1m2½f and returns for new season having been gelded during the winter. Fairly handicapped now on pick of his form so chance if fully fit following 14-month absence. Market should be informative.
Supported in betting and rewarded his backers with decisive Newbury win (1m4f, good) on seasonal return 23 days ago; won well but handicapper has added 9lb and this is very competitive so career-best likely required.
Promising for Dermot Weld in early 2019 but twice well beaten in Listed company since switching to this trainer at Newmarket and Doncaster over further. Behind a couple of these last time and probably high enough in ratings; hooded first-time.
First start in 409 days at Ascot last month (1m6f, good; 25-1) and ran as market indicated he might; 7lb claimer goes on now to give some help but would like to see positives before getting involved.
Up with the pace all the way when eventually settling for 1L second behind Fifth Position at Doncaster (1m2f, good; 15-2) last time; that was just his second start for this yard and couldn't be ruled out if building on it now.
As good as ever on seasonal return when scoring at Newmarket (1m4f, good to firm; 6-1) last month; up 6lb for the win in a deeper race but represent top team and should go well again.
Not disgraced in Group 3 Sagaro Stakes at Newcastle (2m½f) last month when 11¼L eighth behind subsequent Gold Cup second Nayef Road; doesn't have many miles on the clock but wants to find a bit more to defy this mark.
Reserve; lightly-raced and progressing quickly on the all-weather having posted figures of 2111 after returning from 503-day absence in February; could be capable of a big run back on turf if he gets the chance.

Last month's Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes protagonists Scarlet Dragon (first), Deja (second), Le Don De Vie (third) and Indianapolis (fifth) are all much-respected on revised terms while Mark Johnston has a strong record in this and so The Trader is one to consider after winning at Newmarket but two against the field are Babbo's Boy and DAL HORRISGLE. The former quickened well to win over 1m2f here last month and will find this trip to his liking but William Haggas' charge is preferred. He's low-mileage and shaped nicely at Newmarket on his return. Unexposed at this trip; last summer's Gordon Stakes third reads well and there may be more to come from him.
