Each Way Extra At bet365 Handicap
Class 4 | 6f | Soft | 12 Runners | Turf
Off time: 13:02 | Winning time: 1m 16.93s
Explosive winner at York (6f, soft) on his second start, but didn't go on for Kevin Ryan. Better effort for new yard when 4L third of 10 to Danyah in a 7f handicap at Doncaster last time. May benefit from drop to 6f on easy ground, so not dismissed.
Winner in soft ground at Yarmouth on second start, and made a promising return when second over 5f here last month. Below form last time, though, and tongue tie deployed now stepping back up to 6f.
Got no less than he deserved when scoring in first-time cheekpieces at Newcastle (6f) in November, after several close calls. Shaped as if needing the run on return at Leicester last month, and could do better, but looks vulnerable off current mark.
Had no problems stepping up to 7f when landing a novice at Southwell in February, but made little impact on handicap bow at Wolverhampton next time, and seems high in the weights on balance. Has been gelded.
Well beaten behind Tom Tulliver on return here, but turned the tables when a creditable 2½L fifth of 12 to Wonderwork at Redcar last time. Worth another try at 6f on that showing, and not without a chance.
Improved from debut when when neck second of 11 to Newbolt in a 7f novice here, and appreciated drop to 6f when a good third of 7 to Lexington Dash at Newmarket last time. Will continue to improve, and high on the shortlist here.
Tongue tied when winning well at Ayr last July, but not come close to repeating that stylish win twice since, and ran badly on his handicap debut over 7f here last month. Cheekpieces reached for, and hard to fancy.
Handles turf, but very best form on Fibresand, winning a Southwell maiden by 7L in September for Jamie Osborne. Joined new yard for £35,000 after final outing, and gelded. No easy task on return against race-fit rivals.
Kempton 7f scorer on second start last season and not seen again until winning on handicap bow at Newbury (6f) last month. Remains unexposed and despite a 7lb higher mark, he could still be on right side of handicapper.
Produced two similar efforts last season in being placed over C&D (soft) and Yarmouth (6f, good to firm). Merely had to match that form to win on return at Leicester, but should have more to offer now handicapping, and profile is a positive one.
Not beaten far on return/handicap bow at Lingfield (AW) last month, but failed badly to build on that when last of 5 at Newmarket subsequently. Others have much stronger claims.
Just two qualifying runs, and modest form shown, but looks to have been brought along for handicaps, and he shaped better than the result when a respectable fourth of 11 to Eternal Blush in a 6f maiden at Thirsk last time. Will improve.
