Well beaten 9L seventh at Pontefract (1m4f, good) on seasonal and stable debut last month. Well handicapped on his old form but has failed to score since taking the Ebor at York (1m6f, good) nearly three years ago.
Making his return to the Flat following a spell over hurdles when finishing 8L sixth over an extended 1m4f at Newcastle last time out. Worth a check in the market racing off a mark 3lb higher than for his most recent victory.
C&D winner in a four runner event on good ground in August last year and ran well when finishing third in a 1m4f handicap at Thirsk (good) on seasonal debut last month. One to note in this contest.
Placed on the Flat for Luca Cumani in 2017 but failed to make the track for Paul Nicholls. Gelded since latest outing and probably best watched on handicap and stable debut following nearly three years off the track.
Failed to finish on final three starts over jumps including when pulled up on soft ground at Fontwell in February. Changed stables since and blinkers tried for the first time on first Flat start since October 2018.
Missed 2019 and was pulled up in a couple of hurdles at Ayr and Musselburgh earlier this year. Races off a mark 2lb lower than when finishing 1L third over 1m2f at Ayr (soft) in October 2018.
Struggled when finishing ninth in a 1m2f handicap at Pontefract (good) on seasonal debut at Pontefract last month. Step up in trip a positive and interesting to see how he fares.
In good form so far in 2020 winning twice and finishing third three times in five starts. Most recent success came by a nose over 1m6f at Redcar (good) two weeks ago and she holds strong claims despite a 2lb rise in the weights.
Beaten 9¼L when finishing third over an extended 1m4f at Newcastle in February. Absent since and market support would be notable on his return from a break.
Shown good form in defeat in both outings since the resumption of racing most recently when 4L fourth over this trip at Thirsk (good) 11 days ago. One to note racing off the same mark in this contest.

Forecasts
Euro Implosion (11/4), Multellie (9/2), Nataleena (5/1), Sioux Frontier (6/1), Nakeeta (13/2), Sociologist (7/1), Kensington Art (7/1), Ventura Dragon (18/1), Auxiliary (25/1), Card High (33/1), County Fair (40/1), Chief Craftsman (66/1)
NATALEENA was a winner last time out and she can complete a double by taking the concluding handicap event. The selection shouldn't be inconvenienced by the slight drop in distance and she can see off Sociologist who is receiving weight from all of his rivals and has been running well in recent times. Third place can go to Euro Implosion who was placed on seasonal debut on his most recent outing.
- Nataleena
- Sociologist
- Euro Implosion
