Inconsistent, but back in better form again last time, when winning a Chelmsford classified event (1m2f, AW). That has inevitably meant a rise in the handicap, and an extra 4lb back in this company will making a follow-up hard to achieve.
Broke her duck at the 13th attempt in a 0-58 handicap at Wolverhampton (1m½f, AW) earlier this month, when 5lb lower. Went very close when just 2lb lower at Thirsk (1m, good) since then. Stays 1m3f, and looks a big player.
Triple Chelmsford (AW) winner over this trip last year, all from higher marks than this. However, is proving better away from turf than on it, where he is 0-4. Plenty to prove on this surface.
Multiple turf winner over 1m on good/fast ground, all from higher marks than today. Not as good these days, but respectable 3L third at Redcar (1m2f, good) last time, and should be thereabouts.
Showed little in novices' company at three (all over 7f), but made an immediate improvement when upped to 1m2f at Windsor (good to firm) last week. Just a 1L fourth there, so looks a contender from the same mark if able to repeat.
12-race maiden who made the frame a couple of times for previous trainer John Butler, including over this trip. Changed hands privately since last seen in December, but only of interest if market speaks strongly for her.
Hurdles winner who is 0-21 in this code and has made the frame just once in 13 starts on turf. Not much encouragement in his 11½L fourth on his debut for this trainer at Chepstow (1m, good) recently.
Moderate performer with just one place effort to her name from 11 attempts. Has at least proved she gets 1m4f, so this trip is no problem, but needs much more than she showed on her recent return from a break.
One of several out of the handicap here, in her case by 3lbs, and she was beaten a long way in last on her recent return from a break. Can only watch.
37-race maiden. Finished closer than she has on many occasions, when 4¼L eighth of 12 at Chelmsford (1m, AW) last time, but has rarely threatened to win. Visor goes on. Watching brief advised.
Another moderate performer. Has picked up prize money for minor honours on a few occasions, and stays 1m5f. 3lb 'wrong' and hard to envisage her breaking her duck.

Queen Mia (5/2), Petit Bay (3/1), Nabvutika (3/1), Telekinetic (15/2), Seaquinn (12/1), Buzz Lightyere (14/1), Dark Devil (14/1), Captain Kissinger (16/1), Winter Snowdrop (16/1), Arlecchino's Arc (18/1), Captain Revelation (20/1), Lottie Deno (33/1), Sally Hope (40/1), Prince Consort (66/1)
A weak race where half the field are out of the handicap, and it is not easy to see any of those runners winning this. Best to concentrate on the top half of the racecard then, and the suggestion is PETIT BAY, who took a step in the right direction last time and looks a potential improver. Queen Mia could prove a big danger, while Buzz Lightyere and Telekinetic are others for whom some sort of case can be made. Money for Nabvituka might suggest an element of confidence on her first start for David Pipe.
