Had wind surgery prior to her debut at Newcastle (5f, AW) in February, where she showed some promise, Not as good back there (6f) last time. Back from a break for her turf/handicap debut and not ruled out despite stiffish mark.
Dual 5f winner at Wolverhampton (AW) earlier in the year, the more recent when 2lb lower. Well below that level since, however, and that plus her turf record (0-4) leaves her a fair bit to prove.
AW winner over 5f, but has made the frame just once from 11 attempts on turf. If transferring his AW form to this surface he would have a squeak, but as his latest run shows he still has it to do on turf.
Improving performer at a minor level as a juvenile. Returns from a lengthy break for her handicap debut, from a mark that looks stiff enough. Trainer's recent runners have gone well enough, so she could come into what looks an open contest.
Made the frame in novices' company at Wolverhampton (5f, AW) last September, and ran well back there on his handicap debut next time. Not as good on either start since, so plenty still to prove on his return to turf after a break.
Has gone off at long odds and been well held in all three starts so far, looking decidedly moderate in the process. Initial mark is stiff based on what she has achieved, so hard to make a case for her.
Managed to beat one opponent home for the first time in four starts at Chelmsford on her handicap debut earlier in the month. Due to drop 10lb and looks out of her depth, even in this modest handicap.

A mediocre contest to open the card and it really is hard to enthuse about any of the septet. Grandma looks like one of the more obvious contenders despite a mark that looks stiff based on what she has shown thus far, and it might be worth siding with HEARTSTAR, who represents a stable coming into form and was at least going the right way when last seen. Hot Hot Hot has winning form at the trip and may also be a player.
