Windsor and Ffos Las wins last season and showed enough on comeback run to suggest there should be more to come this term though isn't the easiest to catch right.
Second at Bath over a year ago but form tailed off after that. Takes a sizeable drop in trip now and needs something to spark him back to life.
Salisbury and Leicester wins last season and by virtue of some below par efforts on the AW (yet to win in that sphere) now returns 5lb lower than last win so commands respect.
Standout effort when winning at Lingfield in February making all. Not in the same form when unable to lead last time and clearly seems better if able to dominate.
Won a seller on racecourse debut a year ago and although unable to add to her tally, was placed on a couple of occasions. Found 1m clearly stretching stamina on recent comeback and now back at optimum trip.
Hasn't had much racing and although failing to add to her Brighton win a year ago did run well when second afterwards and should come on for recent spin at Lingfield.
Suited by strong pace when coming from the rear over 6f to win here last week and although effective at this longer trip, things rather fell for him then so will find this harder under his penalty.
Very lightly raced in 2019 and failed to build on comeback run. but has joined a yard who do well getting horses back on track and this one-time course win is worth monitoring in market from dropping mark.
Seven race maiden who has yet to reach the frame and sent off 20/1 or longer for all runs. Hard to be positive about.
Clear best effort was over C&D last summer when 2L second of 13. Finished up been well beaten in a seller and needs the return to this venue to inspire.
Forecasts
Peachey Carnehan (11/4), Fieldsman (9/2), Champagne Bob (5/1), Entertaining (8/1), Incentive (17/2), Sonnetina (10/1), Elzaam's Dream (14/1), Harbour Times (14/1), Rivas Rob Roy (25/1), Disey's Edge (80/1)
Peachey Carnehan was suited by coming from a strong pace to win here over 6f last week and this looks tougher over an extra furlong. FIELDSMAN appeals as the pick of the weights on his wins last term and is just preferred to Sonnetina though Champagne Bob is an interesting contender on first run for Mick Appleby.
- Fieldsman
- Sonnetina
- Champagne Bob
