Decent third in Lingfield novice stakes recently and should be sharper for that as he makes his debut on turf after five starts on the AW. Yard having a winner or two so wouldn't surprise to see him right in the mix.
Placed twice at Southwell in October in 5f and 6f novice events and didn't appear to quite last home on handicap bow over 6f at Kempton in December. First start since and will have his supporters off 2lb lower.
Won handicap bow last term taking 5f Ffos Las nursery and ran creditably on two of four subsequent starts without threatening to win again. Nearest at finish when staying on hands and heels at Lingfield on return. 2lb lower and back on turf now.
Seven-race maiden and connections reach for the first-time blinkers in order to spark a revival. That said, he didn't show much on his first start back and more is needed if he is to break his duck here.
Only placed once from nine outings and doesn't look an obvious contender having been well beaten off this mark over 6f here last week. Step back in trip makes sense having faded over further but makes little appeal.
Showed nothing in three runs last sterm but did surprisingly well on handicap bow at Chepstow 5f last week when a good 50/1 runner-up. Only 1lb higher and has a fair chance if able to back up that improved effort.

Quaint (5/2), Lady Florence (11/4), Giovanni Tiepolo (10/3), Rathagan (11/2), Saras Hope (6/1), Crime Of Passion (15/2), Baileys Freedom (22/1), Liscahann (25/1)
SARAS HOPE is a tentative choice having shaped with promise on his return before getting tired. Sure to be straighter now, the booking of the champion apprentice very much catches the eye. Top weight Giovanni Tiepolo should win a race or two this campaign and was a good third on his recent reappearance, while at the bottom of the list Lady Florence has a shout if running as well here as she did at Chepstow when second at big odds on her handicap bow. Quaint looks best of the remiander.
- Saras Hope
- Giovanni Tiepolo
