C&D winner from a 4lb lower mark last year and has paid for her consistency after that, with the handicapper slow to release his grip; of more concern is the form of the yard, who have yet to get going after the enforced break.
Three wins in 22 starts, only win on turf coming at Yarmouth (7f) on quick ground last year; was in good form before the enforced break happened, and might be that he an improver, so with no ground or trip worries, is one with a chance.
Has refound his old form last two starts, the change of scenery to a new yard and refitted visor seemingly doing the trick; needed one more stride at Pontefract last week, and could easily gain compensation for that unlucky defeat here.
Some while since he last visited the winners enclosure although seems to retain his ability; poor effort at Newcastle on reappearance though, too keen for own good, and yard struggling for winners at present; others preferred.
Took advantage of his falling handicap mark to score at Newcastle (1m), battling on well; upped 5lb for that and last time he found form, he held it well; up 5lb, but conditions fine once again and solid chance of following up.
Often ran well in big field handicaps at his peak, but has never been the easiest to win with; simply not as good these days but still capable when things drop right, although he's more likely to place than actually win.
Wona three-runner affair in the soft at Hamlton last September but improved on that when third of four at Newmarket on reappearance,. only beaten a length; open to plenty more improvement and looks one of the main players here.
Twice a winner in 2019 and ran well on reappearance at Newcastle, narrowly denied by Little Jo (not much between them again today at weights); below that form at Haydock a few days later and now new mark has kicked in, so has more to do.
7f winner here last August, form went off the boil after that but bounced right back to form at Newcastle on reappearance, beaten ½l into third; steps back up in trip today, which may suit, and he should be coming with a late charge.
Three wins in 35 starts shows you he's no win machine but there are enough decent efforts to think he could win again; this trip very much a minimum though, and he may need another run or two to get himself fit.
Only win to date came at Kempton back in 2018, and since then he's had some large absences in his CV, so clearly not easy to train; not much encouragement from Newcastle reappearance either, and hard to fancy.
Has a few quirks but capable on his day, and scored from 1lb lower at Epsom (7f) last September; ran respectably on reappearance at Yarmouth behind an improver earlier in the month and this no harder; has each-way claims.

Another open lloking handicap. Mythical Madness got going too late at Pontefract last week and has obvious claims of getting back on the winning trail here, but LITTLE JO may well hold his form now he's found it, and is worth a bet to follow up his narrow Newcastle win earlier in the month. Queen's Sargeant has chances if they go quick up front early and both Casement and old Donncha hold place claims as well.
