Some promising form in France and has run well all three AW starts so far for this yard, recent handicap bow at Lingfield suggested stepping back up to 6f would be a positive and rated 2lb lower on turf; player.
Career-best when springing 25-1 surprise at Nottingham (6f, good to soft) a year ago, out of form since on turf/AW. Has gone well fresh in the past and potentially on good terms with riders' claim to boot.
Just the one career success in 17 attempts but it came here (6f, soft; 20-1) in a maiden back in October; very consistent without winning in six AW starts since and may show up well back on turf.
Veteran has done most of his winning in sprint at Brighton over 5f/5½f; just about sees out this trip and will be at home on quick surface. Still 6lb clear of most recent win-mark now starting out for new trainer.
Dual winner last summer including at Newmarket (6f, good; 7-1) and fairly consistent afterwards on turf; yet to really happen for this trainer however inc recent reappearance in first-time blinkers (off now) at HQ. On workable mark if finding form.
Redcar novice winner (6f, good) 12 months ago; needs to improve on the form shown in two autumn handicaps (inc AW bow) now back from winter break having been eased 2lb by the assessor.
Plenty of placed efforts but only win from 14 attempts came at Brighton 5½f last September off 3lb lower mark; looked in need of the run on recent comeback on Polytrack at Lingfield but should be sharper and trip/conditions suit.
Mare finished second six times in 11 starts during 2019; keen early when forcing the pace on seasonal bow at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) but should strip fitter for that effort.
Done well since joining current yard in November 2018, winning just one but being placed a stack of times. Has won in the past following a break so bold show not ruled out for yard riding the crest of a wave at the moment.
Mare was in good form on the turf back in the autumn including a win at Brighton (5½f, good to soft; 11-2) and should be sharpened up by recent spin around Lingfield's Polytrack. All wins have come with 'soft' in going description however.
Closing in on two years since his last win came over 5f here, lots of poor efforts in losing sequence since though did finish second over this C&D in September. Tough ask from 8lb out of the handicap tonight however.

Fashionesque (10/3), True Belief (9/2), Seprani (5/1), Englishman (6/1), Gold At Midnight (7/1), Momtathil (9/1), Daring Guest (12/1), Spring Romance (12/1), Urban Highway (14/1), King Crimson (16/1), Firenze Rosa (20/1), Porto Ferro (25/1)
Popular veteran Englishman can never be dismissed around here but he's got a 4lb penalty and a 48-hour turnaround to contend with following his win at Newmarket on Sunday. True Belief should go well back on turf but preference is for MOMTATHIL. He had some decent form in France and remains unexposed in this country. He shaped nicely on h'cap bow at Lingfield 122 days ago and should figure up in trip from a 2lb lower perch back on turf. Spring Romance goes well fresh and is respected with Sophie Ralston taking off 5lb.
