Ex-French filly whose two wins at this trip have both come in very testing ground. Makes debut for yard in good form but suspicion ground may be quick enough for her under top weight on British bow.
Has won at up to 1m2f, best form on a sound or even quick surface. Gelded since final start last campaign when third here over 1m2f off this mark. Top yard ticking over well and every chance he'll be thereabouts.
Won twice last summer over 1m in handicap company for George Scott but assessor took his revenge and struggled second half of the campaign. New connections paid 145,000gns at October Sales for him. Weakened quickly final furlong on return at HQ.
Bolted in by five lengths in soft ground Nottingham mile handicap in October and duly raised 10lb. Probably failed to stay 1m2f only subsequent start. Looks plenty high enough in the handicap unless heavens open.
Landed Wolverhampton novice over extended mile last spring and was close second in Ascot mile handicap two starts later. Failed to fire only other outing and not seen since July. Still relatively unexposed and open to improvement this term.
Won AW novice events at 7f anfd 1m last term and has only raced once on turf when well beaten on racecourse debut. Stable not hit top gear yet so may be better for this first start back.
Stable companion of Elegant Light. Won only start at two and although failed to score last season ran some fair races in defeat in decent handicap and Listed company for Mick Channon. Makes debut for new handler off 4lb lower mark.
Landed hat-trick second half of 2018 but drew a blank in 11 starts last term, although ran a number of decent races. Solid fourth in Newmarket handicap off 1lb higher and jockey booking rather catches the eye.
Forecasts
Solid Stone (6/4), Exec Chef (2/1), Mustarrid (17/2), Muraad (9/1), The Gill Brothers (10/1), Elegant Light (20/1), Lyndon B (33/1), Modern Millie (33/1)
Jason Watson has his first ever ride for Jim Boyle and after the good effort from EXEC CHEF when fourth at HQ last week he could be primed to strike. There are a hatful of dangers with the likes of Solid Stone and Muraad being well worth a second glance. Both look the type to do well at four. Modern MiIlie may be the pick of Ralph Beckett's pair and is preferred to top weight Elegant Light who makes her British debut.
