Out of sorts when last seen last summer and chances depend on him returning to the AW which in the past has seen his better form.
Second run back from a break when putting in much improved effort when forth at Newcastle in February. That was over 1m but does stay this far and has become very well handicapped. Solid claims back up in trip.
Generally consistent and last win was under this jockey in December. Below par when last seen but may have been feeling effects of a busy spell and the type to bounce back.
Poor form to date in bumpers and maidens and now needs this switch to handicapping to bring about a deal of improvement to play a role.
Standout effort was when second over 1m5f here in September and even tried 2m on last start so this drop down to 1m2f is a concern.
Better form on turf (is really well handicapped when returning to that surface) although has shown some ability on AW. Still early days for current yard and blinkers back on for the first time he took over.
Still capable of form at this low level though his last win was gained in 2017. Return to this trip should help but others preferred for win purposes.
Gained reward for several placed efforts to get off the mark for 7lb claimer at Kempton in February and not disgraced when third on return visit there. Consistent at this level and should play a part.
Rattled off a hat-trick here in spring of last year and although not in the same form afterwards, most of those runs were at Southwell where he isn't as effective. Now 9lb lower than latest win so very well treated if bouncing back.
Sole career win was at Souhwell over 1m in first-time cheekpieces but they didn't have the same effect only run since (1m3f trip that day shouldn't have been a problem) so hard to know what to expect.
Moderate form with Harry Dunlop and needs to improve for the switch in yards to figure on the evidence to date.
Poor form in trio of maidens at up to 1m and needs the entry to handicaps over slightly further to bring about huge improvement to play a part.

COMPASS POINT needs to return to the form he was in at the track just over a year ago but there is little doubt how well handicapped he is if able to do so and it may be worth giving him that chance. Pioneering has more to come for his shrewd yard and may be the chief threat with Escape Clause another to catch the eye in a competitive finale for the grade.
