First start for new yard, having raced in France until now; question mark over this trip, given the way he has stayed on over further, but some cut in the ground could help; yard have made a good start after the break.
Pops up now and again, bt no great strike rate overall, and record with cut in the ground nothing to write home aboutr either; yard had the first winner back after the break but nothing since then; looks an unlikely winner.
Formerly with William Haggas, now having first run for Tom Dascombe; finished off last season on a low note (tried in cheekpieces) but some solid enough efforts before that, including one on good to soft at Thirsk; watch market is the advice.
Has a C&D win to her name in soft ground, so is of immediate interest on that alone; form rather went downhill in the latter part of the season but she looks very fairly handicapped now, and if fit, could take a hand in the finish.
Another having first start for a new yard, this one having been with Ralph Beckett; hosed up on soft ground on final start for old yard at Chester, although that was weak, and the headgear he wore there is missing; on balance, best watched.
Had a very good winter on the all-weather surfaces, winning twice and placed twice last four starts; worries are this ground and trip, the combination of which might stretch her stamina a bit too much.
Decent strike rate for one of her ability, and shje improved nicely throughout last season; trip no issue and ground fine, and the only real question is whether she will need the run after quite a long absence. Of interest all the same.
Has had wind surgery since last being seen out (ran well on next start last time she had a wind op), stays this trip and handles cut in the ground no problem; yard been a bit slow to get going but not many have had reealitic chances; has a squeak.
Some pretty moderate efforts last year, as a result he starts this season 9lb lower than last; seems to handle all ground and this trip probably a minimum for him at present; yard have had a couple of winners this week.
Just the one win in 16 starts, that coming on the Fibresand at Southwell in January; mixed efforts since then, ground an unknown and all in all., not that hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Has some efforts to his name that make him look very well handicapped now but last two efforts very poor; just about possible to excuse them, and if you do, he's 1-1 in the grade and acts on the ground, so has some plus points; longshot appeal.
Rattled off the wins on the all-weather at Lingfield last winter/spring, winning four from five and goes back to turf on a lower mark, so makes appeal on that score; however, well below par only start with cut, which has to be a concern.

An open looking race. The likes of Variyann and Mountain Rescue need a market check but MY UKULELE ticks plenty of boxes here, and can get her season off to a winning start. La Voix Magique has winning course form with cut and that counts for plenty here, and Critical Time could get back on track. Both Garden Oasis and Harvest Day hold outside claims as well.
