Below par on final start of last year but had been in good form before that, winning back-to-back handicaps at Wolverhampton and second over C&D too; plenty of weight now, and maybe handicapper has hold of her for time being.

Wins in his turn but still 3lb higher than last win and might be happier over 5f rather than 6f these days. Not that hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

Not seen out since 2018 but handicapper has at least given him a chance if he's fit and ready to go; neither trip nor surface will pose any problem, and it's worth keeping an eye on him in the market.

Starting to look very well handicapped on the best of her form but it's a while since she's shown any of that, and she comes with risk; not best drawn either and all in all, easy enough to look elsewhere for the winner.

Found 5f too short on first start for her new yard at Wolverhampton in March but wasn't disgraced, and this step back up to 6f a plus; only 2lb higher than last win and possible new yard will squeak a bit more out of her; not without interest.

Ran a little better than the bare result suggested when finishing midfield at Wolverhampton on final start, and this drop back to 6f an interesting move; only had one start for this yard and if they can coax him back to best, has definite chances.

Winner at Lingfield on final start, beating an in-form rival but that was over 5f and he has yet to taste victory at 6f in ten starts at the trip, which has to be a concern. Draw not ideal either and others make more appeal.

Almost took them from start to finish on latest start here, only denied in final strides, but that was over 7f and she does seem happier over slightly longer. Chance if she gets loose on the front, but that might be tricky.

Only beaten a length over 7f at Lingfield two starts back, and is only a couple of pounds higher than last win at Newcastle in September, but has first start for new yard and is best watched here.

Yet to score in 14 starts but there's the odd effort that would give you hope here; not certain that the drop back to 6f is a positive either, as he can race a bit keenly, and others have stronger profiles today.

Forecasts

Fly The Nest (11/4), Derry Boy (7/2), Red Bravo (5/1), Perfect Symphony (5/1), Glamorous Crescent (11/2), Dubai Elegance (7/1), Sepahi (9/1), Under Curfew (11/1), Napping (25/1), Showmethewayavrilo (28/1), It Must Be Faith (33/1), Fard (33/1)

Verdict

An open looking event to finish off with. Fly The Nest has the credentials to go close and ought to be in the frame at least, but both Sepahi and RED BRAVO have shaped promingly and the latter is simply looking far too wel handicapped to ignore now. If his new trainer has found the key to him, he could be hard to beat from the plum draw today.
  1. Red Bravo
  2. Fly The Nest
  3. Sepahi
