Multiplex gelding, cost £19,000 as a yearling. Brother to two winners including a Listed winner and half-brother to two more. Dam a 5f winner. Makes belated debut here and others look more appealing.
Dark Angel colt who improved from a promising C&D debut to bolt up at York in October. Could still have plenty more to give back up in trip here and should be thereabouts.
Night Of Thunder filly who was unlucky not to make it two wins from two starts at Newmarket in Listed company last time (carried significantly left by winner). That's strong form and she ought to relish this stiff test (Group 3 entered).
Muhaarar colt, cost £80,000 as a yearling and £95,000 as a Breeze-up purchase. Half-brother to a Listed winner and a US dirt winner. Dam a 6f winner and half-sister to a Group 2 winner. Makes debut and worth each-way consideration.
Dutch Art gelding, £6,000 yearling. Related to winning sprinters but this could be too tough on debut if his sales price is anything to go by.
Oasis Dream gelding, cost 5,000 gns as a two-year-old. Half-brother to 7f winner and dam Group placed as a juvenile over this trip. Interesting pedigree but tough ask drawn on the wing on debut.
Morpheus filly, half-sister to four winners and dam placed in Group company over this trip. Likely outsider but some speed in her pedigree and worth a market check; draw might not be ideal.
Acclamation filly, cost £240,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to 1m winner, dam a 1m AW winner and half-sister to three Pattern level sprinters. Fascinating debutante.
Dandy Man filly, cost €72,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to two winners around this trip. Dam a 6f winner and related to other winning sprinters. Tough ask but yard have a good strike-rate with newcomers and she's bred for this test.
Fountain Of Youth filly, half-sister to three winners (two sprinters), dam Listed placed. Likely to need the run.
Showcasing filly, who improved from debut when green at Thirsk to finish third of 11 at Pontefract in October, sticking to her task well. That form isn't particularly strong but fair chance there's more to come.

Forecasts
Art Power (5/4), Magical Journey (7/4), Continental (9/1), Electric Mistress (11/1), Manumission (25/1), Twist Of Hay (33/1), The Mackem Torpedo (40/1), Annangel (50/1), Ruby Dream (66/1), Pivotal Art (100/1), Northern Charm (100/1), Fountain Rose (150/1)
In similar fashion to the first division of this race, there are two with experience who make most appeal. MAGICAL JOURNEY is narrowly preferred having looked very unlucky not to win a valuable heat at Newmarket last time out. Main rival Art Power couldn't have been much more impressive at York last time and ran with credit here prior to that success. Manumission is the interesting newcomer in the line up.
