Fair maiden at best (0-11) but has been below his best of late with his latest effort here over 5f looking a laboured one. Raced only over the minimum trip he's now given a his first try over 6f but needs to show more spark to be considered.
Fair in handicap prior to a recent wind op he's come back even better recording back-to-back victories over C&D having dropped to a handy mark in the handicap (won non-handicap last-time). Gets on well with Grace McEntee; good chance of hat-trick.
Dropped into 0-50 company to finally attain a winners badge over 6f at Kempton a reward for her relative consistency at this level. Failed to match her winning form over C&D off the same mark last time but hardly had the run of the race (slow away).
Yet to win for this yard he did go close over C&D on his penultimate start when well-backed just failing having been kept to longer trips for this yard. Up against it from a wide/draw position at Lingfield last time; better drawn this time.
Took consecutive C&D events in quick succession in January the most recent a handicap off just a 1lb lower mark. Not shown the same spark since though including on two recent Fibresand visits; requires a return to his earlier form to get involved.
Not won for over a year but has slipped considerably below his last winning mark; showing consistent form for this yard in three starts. Shaped better than his final placing over 7f last time; perked up by his change of scenery, 7f may suit better.
Formerly with Lee Carter (ran one respectable race for that yard) she's still seeking her first win having only run in a moderate fashion last time over C&D. Often a free-going sort she's one of the lesser lights. Engaged 3.10 Southwell Thursday.
Course winner over 7f she has work to do with Krazy Paving on her run here last time in a minor event. Without her usual headgear last time blinkers return today although he last two wins have come in cheekpieces; needs to raise her game.
Hard to find too many excuses for four moderate efforts since returning from a break despite falling to a basement mark. Poor here last time over 5f she now steps back up in trip but has never won over this far; others appeal more.
Second here in September under an amateur rider over 7f that remains her most recent decent effort. Well below form returning from a break last time over 7f at Lingfield; hard to see her holding strong claims even at this lowly level.

Forecasts
Vincenzo Coccotti (11/4), Maid Millie (4/1), Krazy Paving (5/1), Tomshalfbrother (6/1), Broughton Excels (13/2), Indian Affair (7/1), Deeds Not Words (7/1), Islay Mist (14/1), Alaskan Bay (20/1), Wild Flower (33/1), Rebecke (33/1)
A few if not that many have chances here with the on-a-roll KRAZY PAVING having a good opportunity to complete a hat-trick and add to her three C&D wins. She’s in good heart at the moment and that may well enable her to maintain her superiority over Vincenzo Coccotti who can be forgiven a poor run last time (done no favours by the draw) having been just touched off by the suggestion the time before over C&D. Maid Millie was back in fifth on that occasion and she’s been in good form since and enters the argument. Broughton Excels was also in that race (finished third) and he’s another whose subsequent efforts have shown that to be a decent race for the grade.
- Krazy Paving
- Vincenzo Coccotti
- Maid Millie
