Disappointing in two starts since finishing 4½L third on seasonal reappearance at Carlisle (2m4f, soft) in October including when upped to 3m at Southwell (soft) last time out. Hood tried for the first time down in trip following a break.
Well beaten over an extended 2m at Taunton (good-to-soft) in November but had recorded two decent efforts over hurdles prior to that and is of interest returning from a break on first start in handicap company.
Put a below par effort behind him when finishing 9½L fourth in a 2m handicap hurdle at Warwick (good) in May last year. Races off a 1lb lower mark here and is probably best watched on his return to action.
Well held in two starts since returning from wind surgery most recently when 50L seventh over an extended 2m4f at Plumpton (heavy) last month. Back down to his last winning mark and is interesting having won over this C&D in the past.
Out of form in five starts for this yard and handicap mark has plummeted as a result. Interesting to see how he fares off amark 15lb lower than when placed at Fairyhouse (2m4f, good-to-yielding) last April.
Failed to shine in four starts over hurdles to date including when beaten 31L over an extended 2m at Newbury (soft) in December. Had wind surgery since and wears a tongue tie for the first time on handicap debut.

Top weight TEGEREK looks likely to appreciate this drop in trip and he is taken to make a winning handicap debut in this seven runner event. The selection represents a good yard and can get the better of Marmont who is now back down to his last winning mark down in trip while Bon Calvados, another handicap debutant can finish third on his return from a break.
