Had some useful form to his name in native France but well below-par in two starts for this yard the latest at Bangor where he again wore headgear. Failed to see things out in both his GB start; now makes his GB handicap debut; jury still out.
Has a fair absence to overcome but took well to fences last season getting off the mark when last seen over 2m4f at Perth the performance being rather better than the scrambled finish. Lightly-raced for a 10yo; ought to get involved if ready to go.
Both chase wins have come with positive rides; made all when winning at Kelso in November over 2m6f (race rather fell part). Not matched that form since despite trying to make all (paid for a pace battle last time); more to do here.
Useful chaser in the past who shaped well enough returning from a long absence (20 months off) despite falling at the last (well held at the time). Eased 3lb below his last winning mark and may well have come on for his last run; interesting.
Showed promise over obstacles when with Noel Meade but sold fairly cheaply from that yard (£17,00) and only seen once for his current connections (shaped with promise off a stiff mark). Eased 7lb from that mark returning from an absence.
Won back-to-back handicap chases just over a year ago and has started to look as though he's returning to that sort of form in his last two starts. Hard to think he was suited by a marathon trip last time; back on his last winning mark; respected.
Has a long absence from the track to overcome having been capable of some fair form in the past over hurdles although she lacks chasing experience. In good hands (yard have a good record with horses off long breaks); worth noting in the market.
Consistent sort who bounced back from a rare poor effort over a slightly longer trip here last time (has won over C&D). Left poorly placed last time and hard to rule out although he looks more of a place proposition on current performances.
Dual chase winner in 2018 for Henry de Bromhead the switch to Dr Richard Newland surprisingly failed to bring about any further progress. Stopped the slide he had suffered since joining this yard last time but makes little appeal here.

The fact that both Imada and Grand Turina have been off the course for some time is something to note here although both would on their best form have a decent chance of taking this competitive handicap chase. A market move for both or one should be noted but it’s the Sam England trained MANWELL who gains a tentative vote with the stable having a Catterick double earlier in the week this one may be able to capitalise on a return to a more suitable trip off what is his last winning mark. Twotwothree will appreciate the ease in grade and he enters calculations although the stable are in a quiet spell at the moment with Ramonex another to make a note of.
