Showed promise in both his starts last autumn, although the form of those races doesn't look that strong; likely to do better this season though, and gets a first-time tongue-tie to help, so not discounted in a weak event.
Well beaten on debut last November but learnt plenty from that and hit the frame (5f) at Wolverhampton in December, running on late; step up to 6f should suit, needs improvement but that's far from impossible.

Three times a runner-up already, and only denied by a head on latest outing at Wolverhampton, may well have won with a better passage; another golden chance to get off the mark, but price will reflect that.
Sixties Icon gelding that is likely to need this experience, and may well need more of a trip too; yard not known for first-time out 3yo winners, so best watched today.
Brazen Beau colt that showed more than enough on his debut at Wolvehampton earlier in the month to think he'll be picking a race or two up in time; likely to improve for that experience and places chances here with a step forward.

Has looked green in both starts to date and as a result, has finished well beaten off; needs this for a handicap mark, and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

Bit better at Kempton on the second of his two starts to date, finished midfield behind one that could be useful this year; might find this a bit too hard at this stage though, and will be better off in handicaps after today.

Last of six and last of eight in her two starts here, which hardly bodes well for her chances; not seen out since September either, and easy enough to pass over.
Nicely bred Cable Bay filly that will be well suited by a test like this, and yard can ready them first time up; worth a look in the market for any support.

Well beaten at huge prices on both starts and makes next to no appeal here. Will hold more chance in handicaps after today.

Forecasts

Dark Silver (10/11), Badri (9/4), Lucky Beau (5/1), Bring The Money (14/1), Blue Cable (16/1), Skyllachy (33/1), Mr Terry (33/1), Am I Dreaming (66/1), Drakey Boy (66/1), Little Floozie (80/1)

Verdict

Dark Silver has once again been presented with a golden opportunity to get off the mark, but he won't be a working man's price and it's possible that either BADRI or Lucky Beau could improve past him. The former looks sure to do better this year and gets the vote here.
  1. Badri
  2. Dark Silver
  3. Lucky Beau
