Placed in an Irish point-to-point-to-point last month, but the form isn't anything special; tough race to be starting Rules career off in, and best watched today.
Definite promise in bumpers, her close second to Miss Honey Ryder at Taunton in March a very solid effort, and far from disgraced when sixth on hurdles debut back there last month, looking in need of the run. Fitter today, and has a chance.
Sent off huge prices on all seven start to date, showing very little; needs huge improvement on first start since March, and hard to see where it's coming from.
Placed too many times for comfort but unlucky to bump into one at Market Rasen on latest start and a repeat of that would see her in the frame here; might not want too much rain, but looks one for placepotters all the same.
Already has a win to her name, that coming in a Catterick bumper back in March, and ran much better when second at Worcester when last seen out (back in July). Needs to settle better to hold best chance, but one of the form picks.
Not a bad effort on bumper debut in February but two subsequent efforts nowhere near that form, and she was pulled up on hurdles debut at Warwick last month; probably biting off a bit too much again today.
Has raced almost exclusively on soft/heavy at Uttoxeter so far, twice in the frame there last month in similar events and merely a repeat of either should see her on the premises. Yard have a good record here, and she should take a hand.
She's not the biggest but her bumper win at Huntingdon in May is just about the best bit of form on show; twice well beaten in Listed bumpers last month but this is easier, and if she jumps fluently, is capable of getting in the shake up.
Rated just 46 on the Flat and showed little this year; not a lot to recommend her chance on hurdles debut today.
Winner of two bumpers and put in her best hurdles effort to date when third to Getariver at Ludlow last time; remains capable of better, especially if the ground stays good, and chances in an open race.
Forecasts
Stacey Sue (2/1), Eva's Diva (5/2), Miss Heritage (7/2), Molly Ollys Wishes (9/2), Pink Sheets (9/1), Czech Her Out (20/1), Always Able (50/1), Miss Katniss (100/1), Devious Dicks Dame (150/1), Song Of Summer (150/1)
A few of these can be given chances. Those playing the placepot will look no further than the consistent yet frustrating Eva's Diva but there are a host of potential imprpvers and she is vulnerable for win purposes again. Pink Sheets lacks a bit of size but if she can jump, then has chances on her bumper form, and both Molly Olly's Wishes and Miss Heritage have form to their names that give them a chance, but with the tongue tie on, a better effort may be forthcoming from STACEY SUE, who has already shown she knows how to win races and she should come on plenty for her Ludlow effort, her first run in a year.
- Stacey Sue
- Eva's Diva
- Pink Sheets
