Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: Jim Crowley| T: Owen Burrows
10/1
Gelded son of Sir Prancealot; cost 50,000 euros as a yearling; related to multiple winners; blinkered first time out is not a great sign and market may be best guide to his chances.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: L Morris| T: M Botti
100/1
Dandy Man colt with plenty of speed on the dam's side; just beat the one home on his debut here over seven furlongs; blinkers applied for the first time; unlikely to be good enough.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: H Crouch| T: E Walker
50/1
18,000 gns yearling by Cacique; half-brother to up to 1m6f winner Garbanzo; last of 11 on his debut at Nottingham in November; hard to see him being up to winning this on that evidence.

25/1
Has raced twice over this course and distance; slight improvement on second start having been never a factor on his debut; much more needed to be given a serious chance here.

Great Fengshui104
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: J P Fahy| T: R Hannon
40/1
Never landed a blow on debut at Newmarket (7f; good) before getting stuck in starting stalls after unseating rider at Goodwood in August; hard to assess but worth a peek in the market.

9/4
Frankel colt who is a full-brother to smart miler Obligate; superby bred and likely to be all the rage in the market if connections think he is capable first time up.

Horse silk
20/1
Cost 30,000 guineas as a yearling; related to winner up to 1m2f; well drawn and market will provide best idea of his chance.

Horse silk
11/4
Related to winners up to 1m2f including Classic winner's on his maternal dam's side; second foal; hard to assess on debut and betting ring should be first port of call.
Cost 60,000 euros as a yearly; related to plenty of winners including Group winners up to a mile; interesting contender on his debut.

(3)
Horse silk
66/1
Champs Elysees colt (90,000gns yearling); second foal from a 1m4f winning dam; half-brother to the 6f-1m winner Sporting Chance; nothing to get excited about from his two racecourse starts and step back in trip does not look ideal.

Believe In Love145
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: J Mitchell| T: R Varian
8/1
Make Believe filly, cost 42,000 gns as a foal and 55,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to a middle distance Group 2 winner; reasonable effort on debut at Newmarket in July; fair chance if fit after break.

7/2
Improved from debut run at Newmarket in October when running a fair race in defeat in heavy ground at Doncaster later the same month; entitled to improve again and one with a better chance than most.

Forecasts

Indigo Lake (9/4), To Nathaniel (11/4), Make It Rain (7/2), Believe In Love (8/1), Ayyaamy (10/1), Win O'Clock (20/1), Seadance (20/1), Deposit (25/1), Great Fengshui (40/1), Critique (50/1), You Owe Me (66/1), Buzztothemoon (100/1)

Verdict

INDIGO LAKE is the pick on breeding and given there are no stand out performers of thos with racecourse form it may pay to side with John Gosden's newcomer. He is full-brother to the very smart Obligate and if he possesses similar ability, he may be hard to beat. The filly Make It Rain has turned in two fair performances to date and will not need to improve too much to play a leading role while it will be interesting to see how much support there is for another debutante Win O'clock
  1. Indigo Lake
  2. Make It Rain
  3. Win O'clock
