Nothing in four runs to suggest she'll play forward role, beat only one rival home over 5f here 34 days ago and best watched.
Course winner and creditable fifth in first-time blinkers over C&D 10 days ago. Headgear remains in place and should be going well in the grade.
Scored over this trip at Kempton back in February but mostly toiling since and again failed to muster a challenge at Chelmsford 12 days ago. Others preferred.
Six-time winner including twice over this C&D. Good second in a 7f classified event here on his penultimate start but has to put a disappointing effort over the same C&D subsequently.
Long-standing maiden but beaten only a length into third in a 6f Lingfield handicap on Saturday and a reproduction will give him fair claims.
Modest maiden handicapper, but back to best when second to Sarsaparilla Kit in a 6f maiden at Lingfield last time, racing more prominently. Blinkers replace cheekpieces now, and place claims if not racing too freely. Engaged here on Monday.
Dual winner, including over C&D, back in the spring; never a threat on return from 214-day absence here last week and must come forward for that effort.
Couple of wins on turf, including over this trip (latest in May off mark of 59) and runner-up in C&D handicap last week. Has to be strong contender on these terms.
C&D winner in August off a mark of 55; running fair races in four starts over 5f since and she may benefit from going up in trip/down in grade.
5f winner here in September and beaten a neck next time over this trip; not as good after at Newcastle but ran better race in a handicap back here 10 days ago (behind a few of these rivals).
C&D winner has tended to go well here but form took a nosedive in the spring and needs to be revitalised back from layoff for new trainer.
Oasis Dream gelding whose dam is half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Katchit. Beaten 6L on AW bow over 7f at Newcastle recently (sixth run) and must improve.
Now 11 runs since his last win in 2018 and below-par sixth of 11 in 6f handicap at Newcastle latest, must turn things around.
Forecasts
Tobeeornottobee (5/1), Brockey Rise (11/2), Our Man In Havana (11/2), Mansfield (6/1), Flora Tristan (6/1), Billyoakes (8/1), One One Seven (10/1), Ghost Buy (10/1), Bond Street Beau (12/1), Miss Gargar (20/1), Philyaboots (28/1), Krazy Paving (50/1), Auntie June (100/1)
Mansfield found only one too strong in a C&D handicap last week and must rate a strong contender in this grade, while previous track and trip winner Miss Gargar also goes high on the shortlist. FLORA TRISTAN went close to breaking her maiden tag at Lingfield on Saturday and will have leading claims here with a repeat effort.
- Flora Tristan
- Mansfield
- Miss Gargar
