Made all to win readily on her Kempton (5f, AW) debut in October, justifying favouritism in good style; disappointing on soft ground at York last time out; likely to be better back on AW and one to consider.

Excellent effort on heavy ground at Windsor on debut ran well below that effort when placed at Newcastle on latest start; decent chance if reproducing debut effort but bit to prove now.
Cost 15,000 euros as a yearling; related to minor winners on the Flat; might have a appreciated a lower draw on debut; market should pinpoint his chances.

Totally outpaced on only racecourse appearance at Newcastle last week; encouraging he is sent out so quickly and is well drawn but hard to be confident about his chances.

Looks up against it on the evidence of his two racecourse appearances to date; obviously open to improvement but difficult to make a case for.

Has produced two steady if spectacular runs to date; showed she handled the AW when finishing 4th at Kempton in September; capable of improving again and possibly one for the shortlist.

Cheaply bought yearling related to some fair Flat performers; bred to stay further than this and one who will probably do better with a few runs under her belt.

Failed to follow up promising debut at Newmarket in July at the same track the following month; was too keen on second run and long break and first-time headgear may help.

Daughter of Kodiac cost £26,000 as a juvenile; some late headway on her debut at Catterick in June; likely to need this run after long break; first time headgear slight concern but well drawn.

Little evidence on her first two runs to suggest she would be capable of winning this; likely to do better when eligible to race in handicaps.

Not disgraced on her debut here earlier this month, running well from a wide draw; similarly inconvenienced here so may have to settle for minor honours at the very best.

Forecasts

Agent Shiftwell (4/5), East Of Eden (5/1), Rosa (11/2), Autumn Trail (12/1), Lady Melody (12/1), Bring The Money (14/1), Dreamboat Girl (25/1), Marina Grove (33/1), Gypsy Traveller (50/1), Tattletime (50/1), Chocolaat Heer (100/1)

Verdict

If ROSA can put a sub-standard performance at York last time out behind her then she may well have every chance to return to winning ways. There was plenty to like about her speedy performance when winning well at Kempton in October and a repeat should see her going close. Another who disappointed last time out after a promising debut run is Agent Shiftwell. His Windsor debut performance offers some of the best form on show and if replicating that effort he holds every chance. Autumn Trail has produced two steady performances to date and would not have to improve too much to play a leading role.
