Finished sixth on both runs for this yard, both here (1m4f/2m) in recent weeks. Beaten 3¾L last time out, including behind two reposing rivals, shaping as though a stronger gallop would help. May also benefit from some help from the handicapper.
Disappointing over hurdles (not for the first time) at Hereford when last seen but prior to that had run creditably at Newcastle (2m, Tapeta) off this mark. Isn't the most reliable but is good enough if on a going day.
Triple winner (1m-1m3½f) who posted a near career best when narrowly defeated upped to 2m over C&D last week. Got the run of the race from the front that day but can't be discounted, particularly if adopting the same tactics once again.
Dropped to 1lb below his winning mark at Chelmsford (1m6f) from March 2018. Hasn't matched in four Flat outings since and was beaten 22L most recently over hurdles at Market Rasen. Others preferred.
Both wins at this track (1m2f/1m3f) but after a good spell earlier in the year, she's not been running to the same level in her last four runs. Tries 2m for the first time but too many questions to answer at present.
Landed a quick double at Chelmsford (1m5½f/1m6f) in September but struggled over this trip off his revised mark on both runs since. Dropped 1lb but has still never won off a mark this high or in Class 4 company.
Possibly flattered when ½L behind Jersey Wonder over C&D last week, having sat close to a moderate pace. Up a total of 14lb for a hat-trick of wins during August-October and may find a couple too good once more.
Had shown her best form on artificial surfaces prior to getting off the mark trying 2m for the first time over C&D three weeks ago. Up 5lb and in grade but less exposed than most and should go close again now she's broken her duck.
Forecasts
Vibrance (13/8), Pirate King (7/2), Casa Comigo (4/1), Jersey Wonder (4/1), Dono Di Dio (20/1), Cotton Club (33/1), Conkering Hero (33/1), Bear Valley (50/1)
Against some exposed and high-in-the-handicap rivals, VIBRANCE should take plenty of beating. The step up to this trip saw her stay on strongly over C&D last time to get off the mark and she can follow-up. Jersey Wonder also showed improved form trying this trip here last week, beaten only a neck, and he should give his running whilst Cotton Club ran well in similar race to this at Newcastle before a poor effort over hurdles and will be happier back on the level.
- Vibrance
- Jersey Wonder
- Cotton Club
